First impression

Gay porn DVD sites are a dime a dozen, but there are two things that caught my eye right off the start with Men DVD Peak. The first is that all of the DVDs are downloadable, which, while not entirely uncommon, is nice to see in a DVD viewing site. The second is that they claim to have HD streams. If there's one thing that most gay porn non-exclusive sites don't try to do, it's offer HD porn videos.

The member's area is exactly like the tour, so you can see all of the navigational options before you even sign up. You get categories to go through, star, studio and niches to check out, a keyword search and popularity orientated listings. They certainly have the browsing features covered, and the overall look of the layout is nice and clear.

Men DVD Peak has 824 non-exclusive DVDs, which ends up being about 3,279 scenes in total. It does not appear that this site updates frequently, as the content count has held steady for some time. That's a shame, considering that most DVD sites offer quite frequent updates. Even without the updates, you are getting plenty of videos to catch your fancy with this large collection. As long as the video quality stands up to the test of time, it's going to be hard to pass this one up.

The DVD pages have an information block at the top of the page, letting you know all about what's in store for you with this hot gay video. The individual scenes are expanded on underneath the top header, so you'll get a scene by scene breakdown of things. You can also click things like the model names and studios. You can pick three different qualities and stream these videos.

The best looking video is shown at 800x600 and 2 mbps, which is hardly HD porn quality at all. The quality throughout is pretty lackluster, and it definitely isn't winning this site any points. While Men DVD Peak talks about its download options, it's quite impossible to find where you should be downloading these videos.

Conclusion

Men DVD Peak might look rather enticing numbers wise, and the layout looks great, but it's missing a real hook that is going to keep you around. It really needs to be actively updated, as well as bringing in actual HD porn to enjoy.
