First impression

Top Man Site is about as generic of a pornsite name you can get, so it looks like we're going to be offered up general hardcore gay porn. I'm certainly not going to complain about a quality selection of non niche specific material, of course - bread and butter gay porn works for me. The tour has some pretty tasty bits running around, and I wouldn't mind going for a ride through here.

The member's area is a bit plain, and very much on the gray side. There's a quick introduction letting you know all of the different types of guys that you can get at Top Man Site, with categories, the latest videos, and the most watched DVDs are presented. It looks like this is a non exclusive gay DVD site, so it's going to be going up against some very stiff competition.

Our opinion

You can browse through the site via the categories, or just choose to go through all of the photo and video sets. All galleries gets you to the pictures, and there are 145 of those to explore. Then you get the all scenes, which gives you almost 3,700 videos to choose from. That's a collection I can get behind, and I'm pretty sure that this makes Top Man Site up there with the largest sites. With multiple daily updates they are definitely making sure to keep on adding in the goodness.

The video pages give you a run down of relevant information for the DVDs. Star information, categories, description, and studio are all displayed, although oddly they don't have these worked into any sort of a tag system. Scenes from the rest of the DVD are given down the sidebar of the video page, and this is also where you find out that everything is streaming only. The player is pretty nice, though, with a a timeline made out of screenshots that allows for precise jumping around, and three different bitrates in the 720x480 window. There's a 256kbps, 512 kbps, and 2 mbps version of the video - and the buffering is very smooth. Scenes tend to be around 20 minutes long, although that depends on the video source. Overall the quality is good, especially for Flash, but I would have preferred some download options as well.

The photo section is nowhere near as large as the video area, but there is plenty there for you to enjoy if you're into pictures. I'm not a big fan of the Flash galleries, although having the slideshow controls right at hand is pretty nifty. However it's a pain when you can't download any of the photos for your collection. Picture size varies, although the quality is generally good.

Conclusion

Top Man Site might not be as feature filled as some non exclusive DVD sites, but the collection size is certainly impressive. Over 900 DVDs featuring 3,000+ scenes is enough to get anyone's attention, although it would have been nice to have been able to download any of them.
