Our opinion

His First Gay Sex has 253 episodes that consist of a photo set and 30 minute video. So far so good on that promise – but it doesn't look like they update once a week. The updates seem a bit on the sporadic side, with one for June and July, but plenty in May, so it's hard to tell exactly when they plan on adding new updates. The individual episode pages are nicely laid out as well – the design of His First Gay Sex might not be full of bells and whistles, but it is a very slick and easy to use setup. The video options are at the top, and there are plenty of them.

Format wise, you have a choice between Flash and WMV for the latest videos, and WMV and Quicktime for the oldest. These are further divided into qualities designated by speed, starting at dial up and ending at either T1 or HD quality for most videos. You choose the quality via a handy drop down, and choose to either download or stream clips. This is one of the nicer setups I've seen dealing with many different options – usually it's just a big mess thrown in the middle of everything.

Starting from highest quality to lowest, there's the HD at 1068x600 and 4.22 mbps, T1 at 852x480 and 2.47 mbps, broadband at 852x480 and 1.47 mbps, DSL at 640x360 and 985 kbps, and dial up at 428x240 and 627 kbps. Of course all the sizes in the world won't help if the content isn't good, but thankfully His First Gay Sex has very solid camera work, scenarios, and guys. It's shot in a reality style, so it does have a bit of an amateur feel to it, but it's the good kind of amateur feel. Older videos only give you three options – DSL, broadband, and dial up. These are shown at 160x120 and 100 kbps, 320x240 and 189 kbps, and 320x240 and 500 kbps. The videos run for around 30 minutes, with individual clips coming in 5 minute chunks.

The photo sets that come along with each video are actual stills as opposed to screencaps. Each set has over 100 photos per set, and although they aren't caps they do follow the video action closely. The pictures are shown at a somewhat small size – 532x800 – but the quality is very good. They have a neat way of viewing the galleries as well. If you have the PicLens software, every one of their galleries is compatible with it. There is also a zip download if you're rather just grab them that way.

You'll notice that the episode page opens in its own window – that's so you can easily close it to jump back to the main page when you're ready for the bonus sites. There are eight exclusive bonus sites, ranging from twinks to first time gay facials. Conclusion

His First Gay Sex might not be breaking any new grounds with their gay for pay straight guys taking cocks, but an eye for hot action and great quality videos help them to stand out. The user friendly layout, plethora of viewing options, and extensive bonuses help out as well. The only big downfall is the intermittent updating, but they have a big enough collection to swing that.
