First impression

Amateurs Raw is a collection of high quality videos, interviews and pictures of girls that are aspiring porn star models. Their tour is set up well, allowing you to get a look at and sample some of the different scenes and models that are currently online in their library. You will be able to watch preview clips of the action and check out lots of thumbnails, brief model bios, and large mugshots for you to see what sort of babes they bring on.

Our opinion

Amateurs Raw launched in early 2011 and is already well on its way to standing out in the niche. We stopped by and signed up for a pass after hanging out and sampling the previews, and were really satisfied with what the site had to offer members overall.

The biggest thing that Amateurs Raw gets right is how it works with the models. In too many amateur sites the girls are nameless, with no backgrounds and no personality. They are just shown fucking on low quality cameras and the lighting is poor -- that's what counts for amateur porn in most places. Here at Amateurs Raw that isn't the case at all. A real camera crew filming in high definition instead calls for girls who want to be porn stars, interviews them, gets their information, then tapes them in a hardcore fuck scene (often their first recorded sex).

The models are real amateurs, with one exception: I spotted Jada Stevens, the beautiful girl with the perfect ass who is getting popular on various porn sites in 2011. Maybe she shot her scene before she started getting big though. Otherwise, the faces were all new to me, and were very much the sort of babes I'm used to seeing in the bar and at clubs. Getting to see them in action was a treat thanks to that association -- it made the fantasy all that more real. The girls are pretty hot, but they aren't gorgeous porn star level either. They are almost always all natural as well.

The scenes run about 25-30 minutes long on average, and the first 2-3 minutes are interviews. These are edited together very well -- it sort of reminds me of a TV channel like E! or something, only hardcore. While she's talking about her favorite positions and types of cock, there is a small window next to her playing flashes of the hardcore fucking from the scene that kicks off when she's done chatting about herself. The sex scenes are very well done. The girls have their tits played with and sucked on, get their pussies licked and fingered, suck down on a cock for a while then get fucked in a number of positions. There are messy cum facials, cum on tits and cum on ass finales. The sex is hot.

I was only able to stream the movies online. They come in up to a 1080p HD format, which is sort of true. If you expand the 1080p HD option to full screen on your monitor it looks flawless but by default it plays in an embedded window that is a smaller resolution of 960x540. There was a standard format that looks almost as wonderful -- I saw no real need to switch to the HD setting, but if you have the connection speed to play it smoothly there's no reason not to indulge. I was a little bit disappointed that there were no download options -- you'll have to remain a member to revisit scenes in the library. With updates every week, this isn't a bad prospect at all.

Image galleries came with each of the scenes. They aren't very large, around 15-20 images in each. The pictures are high quality but not high resolution. They are 960x460 pixels in size. You can look through them in an automated slide show or download individual pictures by right-clicking on them and choosing the save-target-as option.

There were no bonus sites or extras with the site. There were enough models in the library to keep me very busy, but other extras would have been a nice touch.

Conclusion

Amateurs Raw gets full marks for its hot and actual amateur models, the great sex scenes, and the gorgeous videos. It could have offered scene download options and other extras, but remains a great pick regardless. If you're tired of dingy video with small resolutions, the real girls getting fucked in high quality video here mighty be just the thing you need.
