First impression

ATK Galleria has been one of our favorite amateur sites for a number of years. Incredibly, this is our seventh visit in the last decade, and they haven't failed to impress us on this most current visit.

The site has a new members area and cleaner graphics. Navigation looks like it has been improved considerably and the size of the library has grown quite a bit as well. They promise over 2.3 million files in total, with over 4,800+ models (real amateurs) to share with their members.

Our opinion

I noticed the changes in the members area design immediately when I logged in. The graphics are as subtle and minimal as before, but there are some changes in the styles and colors used. Previews and the main strip of navigational links at the top are also clearer and easier to follow.

In terms of functionality the site still left something to be desired when browsing the photos section. Galleries are grouped by number. Inside of a number (for example, Hardcore Galleries #92) you'll find a collection of thumbnails. Click on one and you are taken to a group of gallery previews that are of the same theme that subtitled the image you clicked on.

You end up going through 4-5 layers to get to the galleries, and most of what you find isn't hinted at all before you get there. Once you get to the galleries, though, you'll find it is very easy to sort through and browse the images. You can choose to view them in a slideshow, adjust their display size, or download the galleries in compressed zip files.

The image quality of the photographs are now stratospheric. The High Resolution setting offers 3000x2000 pixel spreads rich with details. The photography itself is good as well, skilled use of light and camera angles. Most galleries average well over 100+ images. The "theme" collection of galleries often number 1,500-2,000 pictures between all included sets. I will say one thing that bothers me slightly and that is the compression of images in the medium quality option. It seems the jpg files are too harshly compressed and that especially models' skin suffers from it. I really hope they get that issue taken care of soon.

The poor arrangement in the Photos archives can be forgiven, it turns out, thanks to the site's advanced search. There are a number of filters for date, subject, models, photographers, model or photographer stats and body types, and more. Combine these to narrow your results down to sets or movies that are exactly what you are looking for. The only downside is that you need to know what you're after. If you just want to browse and have a look, then you'll have to wrestle with the issues detailed above.

ATK Galleria has improved the size and quality of their movies since our last visit as well. You can now save them to your hard drive in High Definition MP4 files. These have either 1280x720 or 1920x1080 screens (6-8 Mbits), all newer updates are of the latter. These look fantastic and have good sound as well.

There are standard definition MP4 downloads with 852x480 screens (2 Mbits) and WMV downloads with 852x480 screens (5 Mbits). You also have iPod-ready downloads and a streaming Flash video, an embedded player with a 1200x700 screen and a great quality playback.

Some of the movies at ATK Galleria are behind the scenes footage, filmed while the girls model for the photographers. They will be capped with an interview or some one-on-one time with model talking directly to the camera/videographer.

Most are pure videos though. The girls are performing just for the movie, either stripping and masturbating alone, having sex with other girls, or with boys. There is a mix of softcore and hardcore content, just like in the pictures.

I'm always impressed with the size of this site, but on this most recent visit it felt even more massive. There is just so much content here, and there are multiple updates in pictures and movies throughout every day. You'll want to pace yourself when you first login. Don't try to see everything at once, it just isn't possible.

One tip of advice for those who do sign up is to go ahead and keep track of the girls you find hot. Many will appear on the site more than once, and you can look them up again by name afterwards. You can also do the same for the photographers if you find you like someone's style.

There were other areas of the site to explore as well, such as the WEB CAMS pages. There were no "upcoming cam shows" scheduled, but quite a few previous shows were online. You can download or stream them just like movies. They are pretty long, usually about an hour each. There is also a "lounge", an online forum, where you can chat with other members. Another addition is the user comment option for every photo set where you can discuss with other members and the ATK crew too.

Though at first glance it looks like the other ATK amateur porn sites are included with your membership they are not. To be honest, though, you wouldn't have time for them if they were. ATK Galleria is more than enough porn.

Conclusion

ATK Galleria is a great amateur site with fantastic content. It has been online for more than a decade and hasn't ever once disappointed members. Updates are constant and media options have really improved since our last visit (1080p HD). The price has remained just as accessible, even though the site is a thousand times larger than it was years ago. For a great mix of real amateur content, both softcore and hardcore, ATK Galleria is one of your best options.
