Homegrown Video is a massive community of real amateurs that's won 12 AVN Awards for their work. In business since camcorders hit the scene, they have a massive collection of homemade and pro-am movies here for fans to download and stream, as well as galleries. The members here are super active as well on the comments and chats.

Massive Collection of Amateur Porn
When I say massive, I really mean massive. Homegrown video has 4,146 movies in their library and more than 1,400+ galleries. This content comes divided into just a few larger categories.

Amateur Videos is everything that's truly, totally amateur. Homemade videos that couples have made of themselves fucking, or of their wives getting naked and masturbating. People have mailed in content (VHS tapes to start) since 1982 and they are still doing it today.

Vintage Videos are where you'll find all of those old movies dating back to 1982 when they first began.

Homegrown All Stars is their collection of the top requested and most viewed ladies and couples who have sent material in.

Pro-Am videos is the section where professional photographers submit content they've made with amateur performers - first timers just starting out in adult and that sort of thing. It's not 'true amateur' like the other sections.

Within these areas are more categories to browse by, and you can really find anything and everything. There is anal sex, swinger sex, solo masturbation movies, pissing movies, POV blowjobs, creampies, DP, and much more.

Largest Amateur Community Online
Homegrown Video boasts the largest and probably the truest amateur community on the internet. There are thousands of members visiting the site daily and probably just as many uploading their own pictures and videos into the collection. With real amateur porn there's no better way to run a site than to create your own loyal base of users and visitors to submit and curate the collection for you. Homegrown Video has succeeded in doing this.

Multiple Download & Streaming Options
There are several download options throughout the library, but the recent standard formats appear to favor Windows Media formats. You have four full length download options that decrease in size and quality, starting with the best format which is a 640x480 screen (2.5 mbits) download. Next is a 480x360 screen (2.5 mbits) download, followed by the same screen size but a lower bit rate (1.4 mbits) download that's a smaller file as a result. The last option is a small portable WMV download with a 240x180 screen (<1 mbits).

Videos have convenient streaming options now as well, either as WMV files or in the preferred and embedded Flash video player. These videos have 640x480 screens and look just about as sharp as the download options.

Pictures are around 800x600 pixels but are smaller and vary in size in many instances. A lot of the galleries were also just vidcaps from one of the movies, though, and not true picture galleries.

Helpful Browsing Tools
They have organized the content reasonably well, though there is room for improvement. You do get options to sort within section by categories (anal, blondes, big tits, etc) and by date. In some you have series to narrow it down by as well. There are also the simple and advanced search tools. The advanced search is especially powerful as it lets you use multiple categories in one search to find pretty specific types of content.

Multiple Daily Updates
Several videos get added each day and usually at least one video. There's a lot of activity here on top of a massive archive that you could explore for months (maybe years) without exhausting the content pool.

Free Porn Feeds
Homegrown has given you access to over 50,000 scenes via their porn feeds. These are a mix of all sorts of hardcore porn that you can sort by studio, series, and category. They aren't necessarily related to the amateur theme of the site, though. You can stream or download most of the feed movies.

Older Movies Aren't Great Quality
As you go back in time the video quality won't be as great. Even some of the recent homemade updates can occasionally be shaky in terms of quality. Media options also change the further back in time you go and won't be as good.

Some Content Is Streaming-Only
There are certain channels inside the site that are streaming only content, and you won't be able to save them to your hard drive. This makes up a very small part of the collection though.

Cams Aren't Free
There was a section for cams but this isn't actually an included feature. You'd have to buy minutes to use them like any other cam site.
