Love Amateurs calls itself the largest of homemade video porn databases, with some impressive numbers: nearly seven thousand movies and over ten thousand photos. Even without a membership you can look through the different videos and picture sets that are available, but only as previews. To actually stream the videos or view the galleries, you will need to sign up.

Based on the sort of exciting, real and authentic amateur content you'll see nosing around, that will probably be your next logical step. The content looks fresh, legitimately homemade, and includes a great variety of teasing, masturbating, and a lot of hardcore sex, too.

Our opinion

Love Amateurs isn't a very old site, which was surprising given the size of the site's library. The numbers promised on the tour were just about accurate at the time of my signing up and reviewing of the site -- it's grown a little bigger since. So though the site just launched in 2011, it's been having a lot of early success and growth.

Those are good signals. The multiple daily updates keep things pretty fresh and interesting, and given the site's community-driven design, it makes for an interesting dynamic of porn as well.

But a note on those community features. I'm pretty sure a fair number of the movies weren't uploaded by users, but most did seem to be authentic amateur productions. We're talking about college couples setting up the laptop on the bed to use its built-in webcam to tape them fucking; hand-held digital cameras looking down at a pretty face slurp on a hard cock. When it comes to community interaction, though, there really isn't much. There are profiles for users but the majority are without details or pictures. Some of them have more info or share their playlists -- favorite scenes they've bookmarked to share. This aspect of the site didn't seem to have been totally matured yet, perhaps with time and more members it will improve, but for now it's the porn that is the real draw.

All of the videos can be streamed instantly online. They play in a Flash video embedded right into the web page with a 640x480 screen. You are able to skip to the parts you like or watch it from start to finish. Buffering is minimal, load times are fast, and picture quality is very good given that it's homemade porn.

If you want to save a copy of the movie to your hard drive you can do so as well. They can be grabbed in full length MP4 files. These are have 640x480 screens (1 Mbits) as well and look as good as the streaming movies. The only reason to save them is if you want a copy to keep in your personal off-line collection.

The picture galleries are a mix of sizes but most are 955x1273 or thereabouts. The images were probably originally smaller than that in many cases, so look a little grainy now. Remember, these are pics taken with common digital cameras or webcams, and by total amateurs when it comes to photography. Given the origin of the pics they are actually pretty damn good looking! Sets vary in size but most have 40-100+ images that you can look through online or save in a zip file to your hard drive.

Navigating through all of this is pretty easy. You have two separate areas on the site for videos and photos. In each are various little options for searching and sorting through the previews. You can list items by popularity, views, date, and even those currently being viewed. You can also limit the results by categories or tags, like Anal or Tattoos. You can use a custom query of your own if the tags and categories aren't specific enough for you. The options for searching are pretty solid and do the job well.

All of the material is being added to every day, so you'll want to check in once or twice a day to keep up with what's freshest. This high activity and the limited, but somewhat entertaining community features make the site enough to keep you busy and not look for bonuses or extras, which as it happens are not included with a membership to Love Amateurs.

Finally, the last promise were live shows, and you do have several scheduled each day (four girls were up, about once every hour, at the time of my visit). These are a nice bonus, however none were active at the time of our visit so we couldn't tune in to watch. The shows are provided via Webcamclub it appears, but are not included in a subscription.

Conclusion

Love Amateurs is a new and very nice amateur porn site. Unlike some in the niche, the content here really is made by and starring amateur girls and guys, mostly making homemade fuck movies or blowjob movies. With a nice large library, daily updates, and good media options, the site needs only enhance the community features to really be a knock out deal.
