Classic Porn Parody Review

Classic Porn Parody Is No Longer Available

Summary: Classic Porn Parody is a simple, lo-fi porn site full of films from the 70s, 80s, and 90s that spoof popular movies, TV shows and songs. The movies are full of forgotten stars as well as classic starlets that are still idolized today. The video options can vary widely in size and quality but generally look good. The collection was large and a very complete archive of porn parodies. Fans of this sort of content will be hard pressed to find a better collection anywhere else.

First impression

Classic Porn Parody has a pretty simple landing page. A big, Star Wars knock-off logo rides on the left, to the right an old television box with clips from the parody porn "Souperman" playing. It gives an immediate sense of place and style to the site, telling you just what to expect. Scroll down to see a list of various box covers for other movies in the collection: The Maddams Family (1993), Sex Wars (1985), Beverly Hill's Cox (1986), Alice in Wonderland (1976), etc. The collection is drawn from movies made in the 70s, 80s, and 90s by the look of things.

Our opinion

Classic Porn Parody is a real treat for anyone into clever spoofs and classic or vintage porn. The site is the first I've ever come across in my three years reviewing porn sites that focuses completely on spoof porn movies from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Its collection is a treasure trove of titles that have been forgotten for the most part, but here they have been resurrected in digitally enhanced formats.

The site's layout is quite basic, however, and not the most helpful. On the tours they have nice previews for the movies: box cover pictures, title, year of production, stars, the director, etc., are all listed. In the members area, they just have a long list of titles with links to "details" or direct links to "downloads". The movies are listed in alphabetical order and there were about 60 of them at the time of my visit.

I was really pleased with the titles, there are so many clever spoofs here. There are movie parodies like Pulp Friction (1994), Who Stole Roger Rabbit (2009), Sex Wars (1985) and Backside to the Future (1986). TV shows don't escape the pornographer's attention either: Hawaii Vice (1988), Starship Intercourse (1987) and Sex Boat (1980). In the details of each scene you get a background on the movie and also the show or movie it is spoofing, a list of the stars in the movie, and the producers and directors.

As you go through the movies you'll see some famous porn stars in the mix. There are babes like Nina Hartley, Ginger Lynn, and more contemporary babes like Jasmine Black and Cindy Behr. Most of the big names in male talent show up here, too: Peter North, John Holmes, Ron Jeremy, and Randy West to name a few.

The site described the videos as being digitally enhanced, and for the most part they are, but the site is pretty sloppy when it comes to media options. The two formats you will run across are MPEG and DivX. There is no real set standard, though. You'll find movies in all resolutions, but most are smaller (under 640x480 pixels). Bit rates jump around but average 2 Mbits/s. Picture quality generally depends on the age of the movie. The stuff shot on film in the 70s just doesn't look as crisp as the movies filmed digitally in the 2000s. Given what they had to work with they did okay with the picture quality and sound. Where I think the site needs to go back and fix itself up is in the resolutions we can download the movies in: give us some standard settings, and some DVD resolution (640x480) downloads for all movies.

There are no streaming movies, but all downloads are for the full length movie. Some longer movies come in two parts, such as Who Stole Roger Rabbit (2009). Some movies do come with screen caps, stills from the video, which show you some of the action in each scene.

There are no bonuses or extras. None of the movies are stamped with the date they were uploaded so it was impossible to tell how often they add new movies, if at all.

Conclusion

Whether or not they are growing the library, I think the 60+ full length parody porn movies here on Classic Porn Parody are more than worthwhile to join for. If this sort of content attracts you jump on it, there aren't many sites with such complete collections of vintage parody movies. The media options could have been better, or at least more organized and uniform, but in the end it is a great, hard to find collection of classic porn.
