Our opinion

Navigation is very simple and straightforward inside Classic Porn Scenes, with just a couple menu links: Movies and Pornstars. Along the side is a handy category list to quickly point you in the direction you want to go. Of course, if there are certain pornstars you fancy, click on the "Pornstars" link, and you'll be treated to all the of porn stars contained within this site. These are categorized alphabetically, top viewed, or top rated. Currently, there are over 200 such porn stars - both male and female. If you want to view just the women or the men, you have that option. And my oh my, there sure are a who's who among porn stars of yesterday here! You'll see such luminaries as Christy Canyon, Alicia Monet, Nina Hartley, Angela Summers, Taylor Wane, Amber Lynn, Ron Jeremy, Peter North, and many more. And how refreshing it is to see a site filled with all natural breasts!

At any rate, a quick perusal under "Movies," and you'll see that there are daily updates of classic porn scenes. Some days even have several movies uploaded! I think this has to do with the fact that the site is very new - as in its first upload was in November, 2010. Considering there are approximately 200 movies thus far, they've been quite generous in their updating. Recently, the updating has tapered down to once a day, which is understandable, but with the multiple updates at the beginning, this site has built up quite an impressive archive, especially considering how new it is.

The movies you can stream or download in Flash, AVI, or iPhone (M4v). The videos show in various sizes, such as 512x384 (approx. file size 21 MB); 576x432 (approx. 67 MB); or 460x320 (approx. 42 MB). They are pretty good quality, especially considering these movies were made back in the 1970s and 1980s. The sound also has very good quality, which might be important - depending upon if you want to follow along with the story line! On average, the videos I viewed ran around 8 to 10 minutes.

I like how handy and easy this site is to search. Each movie scene has keywords to go along with it, as well as the names of the stars (in case you want to find other content within the site that features them).

The movies I saw had actual story lines, so sometimes it took a while to get to the nudity and hardcore sex. Certainly you can fast forward it to the naughty bits, but if you want a little build up to your hardcore action, you'll enjoy the little story line that precedes it. Sometimes there's that cheesy music playing in the background, but I'm sure you can easily ignore it!

I do wish the site would give us more info about the movie scenes, such as the name of the movie the scene is from and the year the movie came out. Another thing that is disappointing is that I don't see any of the photo galleries or the multiple video formats as promised on the sign up page. Perhaps that's because the site is new, and they'll be adding those features soon. They shouldn't, however, put that as a tour promise until they can - and are already - delivering on it.

Conclusion

There's something to be said for classic porn, which is a genre that has many fans. And rightfully so, considering hardcore fucking is hardcore fucking, no matter what decade it's in. Luckily, the videos in Classic Porn Scenes are of high quality - the kind of quality you expect even nowadays - which is an unexpected pleasure.

With daily updates, super easy navigation, and a large archive built up in just a couple month's time, Classic Porn Scenes is a great site for porn from the 1970s and 1980s. I would give it higher marks, but there were a couple tour promises broken. Hopefully those promises will be fulfilled soon, since the site is very new.
