First impression

Daring Sex presumes to offer a pretty high quality package of porn, produced by, of course, Daring Sex studios. These are the DVDs they've made, but now put online so you can expect that same high quality, high production and glamorous feel that their content always has. They work with some truly exceptional European beauties, girls who will blow you away with heir slim bodies, natural curves and penchant for the extreme in the sack. From the look of things the content can come in up to HD formats and the scenes are extremely well produced and varied.

Being a huge fan of pretty much anything out of the European porn market I was biting at the chomps to get into Daring Sex. Read on to see what it is like after you sign up and login to the members area.

Our opinion

I'll never understand exactly how Daring Sex manages to do what they do. Their videos are at once elegant and filthy. They merge the two into a very unique sort of of content that appeals intensely to anyone into glamorous beauty, lithe and shapely European models and raw, unfettered hardcore sex. Indeed, they live up to their motto: Where Perversion meets Perfection.

That isn't to say that my visit to Daring Sex's online home wasn't without its hindrances. I ran into a few bumps on the road, but the big one was site speed. I generally tend to shy away from talking about download speeds and page load speeds as there are too many variables involved to be certain it's the site's fault, but on two visits to Daring Sex from the same computer things were a bit clunky. Streaming videos would stop and buffer more often than I liked, for example. Clicking a link to go to another page was a little slow. I don't have this issue on my broadband connection with other major DVD Archives. The site is brand new, so it could be that they are still tweaking and optimizing. In fact I don't doubt that is exactly what is happening. Hopefully by the time you're reading this it will be purring like a kitten.

If you're into European models and porn then this is a site you'll want to add to your portfolio. If you want you can skip the rest of this review and go sign up. You won't be disappointed, not if you like to watch models like Black Angelica, Aletta Ocean, Bobbi Starr, Angel Dark and Eve Angel in hard glamorous action. The models perform in the sort of variety you'd expect from them: lesbian, insertions, hardcore, group sex, double penetration, anal sex and much more. There was a fair amount of fetish sprinkled in like nylons and fishnets, high heels, etc. This fetish material is mixed with the hardcore, which remains always the primary focus of the site.

Outside of the sex and high standard of their pornstar models, Daring Sex also invests heavily in the quality of their movies. The DVDs often have some sort of story or theme: Geishas painted white in hard passionate love making, trips back in time to a decadent Rome, or just highly stylized shoots outdoors, indoors and in various settings. Things that you might not think of much, like lighting, color, use of shadows and subtle camera angles, well those things all add up in a very big way here. Every scene is a professional masterpiece and it does make a difference. Most scenes are also more passionate than straight lust. The girls move and ply their bodies against their men or lesbian lovers in ways that is just as erotic as watching them get filled hard in closeups of the penetration.

In short, it's classy stuff that still has teeth.

As I mentioned the site is very new and it isn't very large yet. They look to be adding new scenes from their DVDs regularly, about every other day. You'll be able to nose through the collection by categories, by DVD series name, by pornstar or by pictures.

The tour promised HD movies and to some degree they were honest. There is a category of HD movies, they make up about 25% of the total videos on here. The HD format is only available in a Flash streaming video though. It has a 1280x720 pixel resolution (720p HD) and looks great. I was disappointed I couldn't save a copy of the HD movies to my hard drive though.

You'll still be able to download and stream the formats available for all of the movies, HD or not. The streaming is done in High and Low resolution settings in Flash. These videos look as good and as large as the Windows Media download options that come in the same High and Low resolution settings. These had 720x400 and 360x240 pixel resolutions, respectively. The bit rates were 2.5 and 1.5 mbit/s. The movies looked good, but weren't perfectly crisp, another small disappointment I had to note.

The images at full size are 1080x1610 pixels. You can only browse through the galleries, which are large, online though. They are viewed in a large Flash gallery viewer. You can still right click a photo to save it to your hard drive, but there are no zip files. The galleries mirror some of the videos here and the images are high resolution and look fantastic.

There are no extras or bonuses wrapped in with a membership to Daring Sex. They do have an online store linked to so you can buy physical copies of the DVDs should you want them.

Conclusion

I think I can best sum up Daring Sex as such: the porn and models were perfect, the site wasn't. It comes close, but it has some things to work out. I think the quality of the videos deserves to be better and should be. The options now aren't horrible mind you, but with this quality of pornography it really ought to come in more sharp and crisp downloads. I also thought they should make HD available for download, not just streaming.

In the end though I can't but recommend this site to anyone who like European girls and Euro porn. The site is classy, has an amazing collection A-List Euro pornstar talent and as it is brand new, things can only get better. Definitely give Daring Sex a visit.
