First impression

Elegant Angel is one of the top hardcore porn producers in the flesh industry and here we have their official website. They've stocked their online libraries with all of their successful porn star-studded releases and give us the option of paying one monthly subscription for unlimited access to all of them, rather than having to go out and buy individual titles at the local porn shop or via VOD sites. It's a pretty sweet option. For what one or two DVDs cost you can get 30-days access to thousands of titles. The porn looks as clean and perfect as it does in their DVDs and according to the tour pages here it should look even better in high definition options that are available.

Our opinion

There are two types of DVD porn sites (okay, I'm over simplifying, but play along). There are those that take titles from a variety of studios, some good, some average, and some bad. Then there are those DVD porn sites built by the studios themselves, and populated only with that studio's titles. Usually these sites are also exclusive, meaning the studio doesn't let any other site push its content online. This latter class of DVD porn site is what I found at Elegant Angel.

Elegant Angel itself is a DVD porn studio that needs no real introduction, but I'll give it one anyway. They've been in business for years and have won multiple awards in the industry. They work with the biggest names in porn, including super stars like Eva Angelina, Alexis Texas, Kristina Rose, Angel Dark, Lisa Ann, Julia Ann, Kagney Linn Karter, Tori Black and so many more... all together there were 394 pornstars in their database and in their movies. They have even introduced porn icons like Gianna Michaels, Ava Rose and Tori Black to anal sex in front of the camera through their Big Wet Asses series. Scenes that are available in HD at this site.

The porn that's won awards and industry acclaim sticks mostly to general hardcore and its varied sub-categories. You won't find too much that's overly 'fetishized'. There are 32 categories that they file their porn into, and only a handful stand out of the general hardcore norm: female ejaculation, pantyhose, strapon and bukkake. The rest are staples of hardcore DVDs like anal, threesomes, lesbian, MILFs, interracial, ebony porn, group sex, big tits, creampies, blowjobs and ass to mouth. The quality of production to all of their movies, regardless of niche, is absolutely stellar. The girls have been dressed up (or down) and painted with makeup in flattering ways; good settings are used that fit the scene or in some cases the scenario, like well lighted mansions, turquoise swimming pools, empty and grungy warehouses (like where Kristina Rose's new rough sex scene is shot) and million dollar yachts off of tropical shorelines. The lighting is fantastic, the camera work is fantastic and the girls themselves give excellent performances.

If you haven't picked up on it yet, the site is pretty well set up. There are categories for each major way to browse: by model, by dvd, by movies or by pictures. Pages load quick and are pretty clean. Important links aren't cluttered or harassed by advertising. It's really easy to get around and find what you like or might like, and once you do they tell you who was in it and show you some thumbnails for other movies you might like that are similar in theme or content. This can lead to hours of enjoyable browsing, usually lasting until you just can't go on any longer (chaffing sucks).

The tour was pretty simple in its promises. The really big one I wanted to check was that high definition content they mentioned. Turns out to be true. All of the scenes appear to be offered in HD download formats as well as conventional DVD quality downloads; however, the last few updates have not included HD options, much to current members disliking. They've been sounding off on the comments for these movies about the missing option, so hopefully the Elegant Angel web crew will get that sorted out. This glitch only applies to about the last 5 or 6 updates.

The DVD quality download for all of the movies here are offered in Windows Media format at 720x408 resolution and a 2.8 mbits/s bit rate. You'll find MPG downloads in 640x360 resolution files with 1.5 mbits/s bit rates that look just about as sharp as the WMVs and only slightly smaller.

For the high definition movie downloads you'll find an MP4 file with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution and a strong 8.22 mbits/s bit rate. This makes for a very crisp and high quality viewing experience. This is blu-ray quality folks. You will also have an iPod-ready download in MP4 format plus a Flash video player that lets you stream all of the movies online.

A lot of the movies will also come with picture galleries. This is a nice touch, as most DVD archive sites don't have any. The images are large 1600x1200 pixel shots that look fantastic and very crisp. They showcase the same action as in the movies with which they are associated, but you'll get some unique angles, shots and positions. Some of these were used for cover photos on the DVD covers. Gallery sizes very. You can browse images online or download galleries in convenient zip files that they provide.

All of this content is updated daily, so the collection is growing. It's already large with 154 DVDs, but the fresh updates are a nice thing to look forward after a long day of work.

Conclusion

If you like their DVDs, you will love their website. Elegant Angel has really built a great site with their hardcore DVDs and it's a steal if you consider your unlimited access and 1080p HD downloads against what it costs to buy a hard copy of any of their DVDs. This way you get variety and new porn daily. I'm a little bummed that the last few updates haven't included the HD option but I'm hoping it's just a glitch that will be corrected. In any case, this is a great site for fans of hardcore and pornstars, and that want a lot of options when it comes to viewing porn.
