Say goodbye to Sam at the local smut shop — you won’t be seeing him anymore. Bid a fond farewell to Lil’ Paulie at the peep show booth — his services won’t be needed any longer. Why? VideoBox, that’s why! With access to VideoBox’s ever-growing library of skin flicks you will never have to go to the adult video store again! Our opinion

VideoBox, formerly known as Climax Corner “back in the day,” is arguably the greatest adult video bargain on the Internet. With a subscription to VideoBox you can download as many full length adult videos as you can handle for just $9.95 a month. And since VideoBox does not use DRM technologies to restrict the use of the videos you download from ‘em, you can keep the videos that you download forever. Not only that, but you can also burn ‘em to DVD! No shit!

Though the DVD resolution files are very high resolution and thus take some time to download, they’re also cut up into bite-sized segments so you don’t have to wait around to download all the bits you don’t want to see. In fact, you don’t even have to wait to download complete scenes as VideoBox gives you the option of starting each download at whatever point you want. Basically, find a scene that looks good to you and click on it. You’ll be taken to a page with a long filmstrip containing a number of thumbnails — at the top of this page is a green box for start and a red box for stop. Drag any thumbnail from the filmstrip to the green box and you can start watching the scene from that point — drag another thumbnail to the red box and that’s where the scene will stop. Pretty sweet, huh? The lower resolution clips load rather quickly, but are displayed in smaller boxes than the higher resolution clips. The quality of the movies varies, but this is due mostly to the varying quality of the original videos and not to the quality of the actual downloads.

It is early June '06 as I write this and there are nearly one thousand and fifty movies currently on the site; however, by the time you read this review there will no doubt be a considerably higher number of videos on the site available for download because VideoBox adds five new DVDs a day. The selection of videos is rather impressive (heck, I saw a movie on this site that I bought for twenty bucks not five years ago!) and there’s a nice variety of starlets represented on the site, including big names like Tera Patrick. VideoBox currently has deals with seventy-four different studios, so there’s a ton of stuff here, from gonzo shot-on-tape productions to classic blue movies from the eighties. There are forty categories you can search through, including Japanese, Latinas, creampie, handjob, golden showers and mature — pretty much anything you could possibly want is here waiting for you.

Conclusion

With the price of the typical pornographic DVD averaging about thirty bucks, VideoBox (with its price plan offering going as low as $9.95 a month charge) is a steal — a flesh fanatic with an ample amount of free time on his hands could easily burn ten discs a month for less than the price of a single DVD purchased at the store. Heck, a monthly membership to the standard adult website will usually set you back twenty to thirty bones and you don’t get access to nearly as many videos! To say this website is a bargain is an understatement — VideoBox is the bargain and thus cannot be more highly recommended. Best of all, with a subscription to VideoBox you will never have to associate with the kinda scumbags who hang out at adult video stores ever again! If that’s not a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is!
