First impression

VideosZ isn’t hiding the fact they have an enormous amount of DVDs in their collection. The facts alone prove their intent on having the largest online movie collection, with over 5000 DVDs available for download or streaming.

It’s possible to browse through every DVD they have online and see details of each scene, before you are buying your membership. You can search for titles or porn stars, and if you select a porn star e.g. Hillary Scott, you have the option to select the genres you want to find scenes with her in (anal, gang bang and so on). There are many ways of browsing as you can already imagine, other ways are browsing through most downloadable DVDs/scenes, best rated DVDs etc. It looks pretty good on the outside, but how is it in the members’ area?

Our opinion

My first thought entering VideosZ was “oh my god, where do I begin?” As I previously mentioned you have almost every search method available on VideosZ so it shouldn’t be so hard should it? I guess you could compare it to a strip joint. 10 gorgeous babes offer a lap dance – which one do you pick? Transfer that to videosZ and multiply it with 600 and you get an idea of the huge archive available. Or maybe I should just pick some random babes and find out how many scenes there’s available: Carmella Bing (27 scenes), Melissa Lauren (111 scenes.. yes 111) and Shyla Stylez (45 scenes). As you can figure out the archive is huge, and with DVDs being added on a daily basis, it’s only getting bigger…

It's important to point out the fact that the DVD's being added to the archive aren't the absolute latest releases. My impression is that the DVD's have been on the market for a year or two before being added to the VideosZ archive, which makes sence from a financial point of view.

Even though you have more than 30,000 scenes to choose from, it’s easy to find the stuff you’re looking for because of the many ways of searching and browsing. You have the option to download the scenes in Xvid format and stream them in 2 different qualities (Flash low/high quality) depending on your connection. The new DVD releases can also downloaded and streamed in H.264 Mpeg4 quality, which is much better than the normal Xvid quality, as the Mpeg4 format is pretty close to the original DVD quality. Obviously there is no high resolution picture archive, since this is a DVD-archive, but there is a small screencap archive for each scene you can watch online.

Through the day I downloaded several DVDs, with the download speed going up and down for each download, the lowest was around 600KB/Sec and the highest was 1,85MB/sec. It’s hard to say what you can expect because of the huge difference in download speed. It could be a bandwidth problem at VideosZ or on the internet in general. At least we know it’s possible to download real fast from VideosZ under the right conditions.

Conclusion

If your huge porn collection is piling up on your DVD player, or the wife’s had enough of the cheesy covers lying around, then the solution is simple! Dump it, and sign up for a membership at VideosZ as they do all the work for you. No more changing DVDs, just click on the scene you want and enjoy it. The archive is so huge that you will probably never miss a DVD, and it would in any case be bigger than what one man can collect in a lifetime!
