First impression

This is a site with a very clear offer: huge and high definition movies that are as good as video can be with today's technology. If the movies are anywhere near the size and clarity of these huge previews, they are going to truly make your jaw drop. Like the name implies, the real focus or recurring theme at Premium HDV is that each and every video is available in the highest quality HD settings that current technology provides for; however, there are some other items that seem to tie the site's material together, such as a cast comprised almost entirely of porn star models. There are hundreds here to see perform in a range of intense action. I was able to browse through all of these videos easily. By default you have a chronological list of thumbnails. These are small snapshots of the movie, and usually a very good moment of the movie that shows you what it's all about. The thumbnails list all the model names that star in the scene, the categories it falls into, the running times and the rating that members have given it.

If you want you can click on any model name or category name and get a list of results that have the same labels. At the top of the results you also have a drop down menu for categories, a search box for model names and a general search for keywords. This makes hunting down specific action easy and quick. There is also a model index apart from these options, which lets you browse by model name and photograph.

I mentioned earlier that sites promising HD in the porn world can sometimes be bittersweet. That's because they in some way fail to really deliver true high definition, either because resolutions are too small or the quality of the lighting and camera work is off or some other reason. There are picture galleries with each of these high def movies and they contain high resolution pictures. The photographs don't vary that much from the videos, but they do look stunning. They have 1280x850 pixel resolutions and like the videos are perfect compositions in terms of lighting, etc. You can browse the photos online or download the galleries in zip files.

Movies run from 20 to 30 minutes long on average, and picture galleries average about 75 to 100 pictures to a set. Overall, the library has over 300+ movies online and counting (August 2010). New material is uploaded every single day, as promised.

Premium HDV is pretty much perfect. It offers the highest quality high definition movies I've seen online for starters, but more than that it's a focused site that delivers exactly what it promises.
