First impression

Even before you sign up, Black Ice Pass lets you get pretty familiar with their catalogue of content and how their members area works. The "tour" pages are, more or less what your members area will look like, and without even signing up you can browse the DVDs, the pornstars, the pictures and the other content. You just will be limited in what you can watch. I spent a good amount of time playing around here before signing in to do the review and really liked what I saw, though it was clear even at this point that the 824 DVDs promised are combining the 2 bonus sites in the count (ZTOD and ThirdMovies). Regardless, there's some really great ebony porn titles on display here and all of the hottest big booty girls and sex dolls you could hope for. I signed in and dove right in without batting an eye.

Our opinion

I have to admit, once I got access to the members area, I beelined it to a DVD I had spotted when nosing around the "tour" area, a new release called Phat Azz Brazilian Orgy 6. It starred ebony and mulatto beauties from Brazil in a very intense mix of hard fucking. There were two scenes in total, each over 80 minutes long, and each having multiple babes ride dick, fuck, suck and cum. There was a lot of anal action and some liberal use of oil as well. The scene was hot, but what I was able to confirm almost instantly were the full-length, Full HD downloads promised on the tour, as well as several others.

There was one Full HD (1080p) download, and this was in MP4 format. The movie has a huge 1920x1080 resolution and a very strong 9.3 mbps bit rate. This makes for a crystal clear and stunning playback image. The MP4 also comes in a 720p and 360p setting (both look great as well). Other download options included DivX (640x360 @ 2.2 mbps), Windows Media (640x360 @ 2.0 mbps) and a great iPod/iPhone formatted MP4 download. All of these are full-length scenes. Most movies run around 30 minutes long, but for the long ones, like the Phat Azz Brazilian Orgy scene of 80+ minutes, file sizes can be huge.

You can stream movies in an equal number of options. The default is a sharp-looking Flash video with a 720x400 resolution (there is a low res version of that file as well). Then you'll have MP4 streams in 720p and 360p qualities and even an iPod stream in MP4 format.

Just a quick note. Not all movies have the 1080p HD option available, and some only offer WMV formatted downloads (up to 720p HD usually). The 1080p HD option is becoming the norm steadily though.

So the promises of HD and multiple formats checked out, now it's on to the porn itself. You need to remember that Black Ice is a DVD studio, and what you're browsing here are their DVDs. I would point out here that the 800+ DVDs promised take into account the 2 bonus sites that are interlinked. Black Ice itself had a total of 210 DVDs, not exactly chump change either. These are popular series like Oiled Up Brazilian Butts, Black Azz Orgy, Doin' Da Bubble Butt, Interracial MILF Orgy, White Bubble Butt Sluts, Fuck My White Ass, and Deep Black Ass to name just a few. As you can see there is a lot of interracial sex in the mix here, not just black on black hardcore. The sex tends to focus on big boobs and big asses, and anal sex is common commodity. You'll see lots of group action, including orgies, gang bangs and threesomes. Big dicks, deep penetration and lots of kinky reality scenarios.

There were picture galleries at Black Ice as well, these were mostly tagged onto the DVDs, but looked sharp and were large sets of 150+ images in most cases. There were hundreds of them and they were all great quality. They fall just shy of high resolution, though. You can browse them online, in a slideshow, or download them in zip files.

As promised, you do get access to the ZTOD and Third Degree catalogues. You can click on their names in the main menu and jump to their version of the same members area. The promised content counts represent all three sites together, and you do have unlimited access to all of them. The site pretty much delivered in every way and owned all of its promises.

Conclusion

Black Ice Pass is a great quality ebony and interracial porn site full of some of the best DVDs released. With 1080p HD viewing options, lots of variety, lots of content and large, solid and reputable porn sites thrown in as bonuses, this is a great deal to take advantage of.
