When entering Cougars In Heat, the first thing on their website is a definition of the word “cougar”;

Well I guess that settles it then – like we didn’t know that already! But it’s pretty cool with the facts laid out as soon as you enter the site, as it kind of raises the expectations to the content the site has to offer.

The intro page is very user friendly with simple navigation and big pictures to describe the content of the scenes. You can see all the scenes the site has to offer, with the possibility to download or stream a 40-60 second trailer.

Our opinion

I think most men consider a cougar, to be a sexual appealing woman with a strong personality and the desire to take control of the situation. At least that’s my first thought when I think of a cougar, and Cougars in Heat is all about that. The models are hot and sexy, many have been seen before on other websites (not surprising as they are some of the most popular in the business), and others are unknown for the average porn viewer. The scenes don’t include much acting, as they are pretty straightforward e.g. “I got stood up by my lame husband again hmm… what to do… I know.. lets order a pizza and fuck the pizza guy”. None the less, it works great, as most guys, I think, have a fantasy of being “used” for simple no strings attached sex by a mature sexy woman. It’s pretty cool seeing the PC repairman looking at the computer, and behind him lies a sexy mature woman on the bed waiting to take advantage of him… If you enjoy these fantasies then Cougars In Heat is a site you should experience. There are around 150 scenes available for members to enjoy, with videos added every week.

Cougars In Heat is a simple website to navigate with no category bars etc. Just scroll down and look at the images until you find a scene you want to watch. Simple layout always makes porn a joy to watch, as you don’t feel lost, like you sometimes do on mega sites with thousands of videos. There are no flashy colors on this site, just that relaxed feeling that makes you want to click around and check all the cougs out.

As a member you have the option to stream or download each scene in different qualities ranging from low, high to HD as well as iPhone/iPod (.mp4) format. I wouldn’t recommend the “low” quality format, as the videos are compressed very hard, but if you are on a low bandwidth connection it’s of course nice to have the option. The “high” quality format is pretty good quality-wise and it looks like they found the right mix between quality and size of the video. But of course nothing beats real HD video, which on Cougars In Heat means 720p aka. 1280x720. The quality is as expected awesome, and a real step forward from the lower resolutions.

I tried downloading movie and picture sets several times, but the download speed is very stable around the 0,5 MB/sec which is okay. However if you intend to download the HD material, you should be prepared to wait at least half an hour for the download to complete. The non-HD normal videos are around 250-300 MB and download within 6-8 minutes. During these downloads, I noticed that some scenes weren’t available in all formats, even though it’s advertised as ready for download. Several iPhone downloads resulted in a blank page because the file wasn’t on the server. This is a drawback if you intend to use Cougars In Heat on your mobile, for the desktop users out there it’s not important as you’ll probably download or stream in a better quality.

Picture sets are also available for each scene – typically in 2 different qualities plus HD screencaps. They can be viewed as a gallery or downloaded as a package. The two photo resolutions are 1624x1080 and 1007x670. Furthermore there's usually a hardcore photo set and one with solo posing.

Conclusion

Cougars In Heat is a pride to the mature niche as the site is among the top mature sites right now on the web. The awesome quality of their HD content combined with the beautiful models and easy website navigation is a winning combination. The download speed could be better, but it’s still acceptable, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cougars In Heat to all you cougar aficionados out there!
