First impression

1 By Day is a Denys Defrancesco site that offers its members a fresh update every day. Actually, two updates each day, each of a new beautiful model, probably from Europe, undressing and showing off her lean and healthy body in HQ erotica. The layout and style of the site hasn't changed much since our last visit in 2007 but beneath the veneer some major upgrades have been undertaken. Our opinion

The 1 By Day archives go all the way back to 2001, and starting there and comparing the content in those early galleries and videos to what 1 By Day offers in 2011 is telling. In ten years the site has refined their art, improved their website, and offered more and better content, but they still carry on the same mission from that first day: add at least one new set of content each and every day.

They also haven't strayed from their early interests: European glamour dolls. These are beautiful girls, sometimes amateurs and sometimes porn stars. They are dolled up and beautiful for their galleries and videos. They are attractive, with lean bodies and natural curves. Most have a modest handful for breasts, and tight round asses, but there are exceptions. They bring the occasional busty girl or one that has a remarkable bubble butt to mix things up. They also bring on girls from Asia, South and North America, but again, it's all about Hungary and the Czech Republic for the most part.

The sets can manifest in a few ways. The softest of them will be one girl undressing and posturing her body in alluring poses, such as bending over with her knees together, or spreading her creamy thighs wide to hold her pussy open for you. She might have her tits oiled or wear some sort of skimpy lingerie or bikini, at least in the beginning. The intensity turns up from there: they add in sex toys and additional models, that will fuck each other with double ended dildos and fill each others' tight assholes with plugs, beads and their own tongues. There are some hardcore boy/girl sets with anal penetration and cumshots. The boy/girl stuff is really kept to a minimum, though.

By default you can look through this content in a calendar format. Nowadays they are adding two updates each day (not just one). They have a model index you can jump into as well as tags on each set. Try to keep things basic for best results.

I felt the browsing tools were do for another upgrade. The search tool is too basic, and I dislike having to open a gallery to get tags to choose from. More categories, easier to access tags, and better classification would take the site to the next level.

The galleries are higher quality than in 2007. The largest image size is now 1333x2000 pixels. They are high resolution and look fantastic. The big improvement seems to come on the set level, though: better lighting, better makeup, and better locales to shoot in. You can browse through galleries online and in slide shows. You can also download any gallery in a single and easy to grab zip file for your archives.

The videos, which now come with just about every update, run a few minutes long each and can be streamed online in a Flash video player that has a 960x540 resolution, or downloaded in up to 720p HD Windows Media files. They have a 1280x720 pixels resolution and a +4 mbits/s bit rate. There are also MP4 downloads in 720p HD (1280x720) and DVD quality (640x480) downloads. These have improved in the same ways the photos have.

You won't have access to any bonus sites, but you do get some jokes and wallpapers, plus the twice daily updates. Conclusion

1 By Day is a solid erotica site with teeth. The library is just enormous, with ten years of daily and twice daily updates to dig through and savor. Media options are excellent and well suited to the content. Content is easy to get through and dig into. With two updates every day now it remains one of the best picks for surfers into European glamour girls with an edge.
