First impression

The site looks very clean and showcases a lot of great samples of Taylor in action. I've always been a big fan of Taylor's so I'm pretty pumped to log in and see what her official site has to offer.

Our opinion

I wasn't the least bit thrown out of step when I logged in. The members area has the exact same presentation as the tour pages, only now we can click the Updates, Videos, Photos and Movies links in the navigation and get access to the full-length downloads. I stopped in on her updates page to see how active she's been. The photo galleries have been updated twice in the last week and the videos have been added once every 7 to 8 days like clockwork. On that count Taylor Rain was pretty modest in her promise of 1 update a week, clearly exceeding that when combining photos and videos together.

When I was on the tour I was a little doubtful of the promises of exclusive content - - if she is no longer shooting porn, how could there be anything not previously released? I also recognized some of the samples from DVDs. I went through her collection of videos and am pretty sure that almost all of this content is non-exclusive, or it at least appeared on DVDs that can be purchased outside of the website first.

At the time of my visit Club Taylor Rain had a pretty decent-sized collection. There were 52 movies and 61 photo galleries in total. The tour promised us high quality options for both and that's what we get. The movies are all available in Windows Media format only as a single, full-length download. They had a 640x480 resolution and a 2.6 Mbps bit rate. They looked good and could pass for HQ but definitely not HD. I was a little disappointed that there were no streaming videos or any alternative formats or quality options to choose from.

Taylor's photo galleries were also high quality and high-res, for the most part. The average resolution was 1800x1198 or 1198x1800 pixels and they looked sharp. You can browse through the images online or watch them flick through on a slideshow, but there were no download options unfortunately.

In her Movies section there were 99 full-length DVDs available and you can download any of the scenes from them as full-length WMV files. These are offered at a resolution of 640x480 and have a bit rate of 2.6 Mbps. They look pretty sharp.

Besides all of that porn, fans will get to read up on her blog, which she posts on about once a week or so and also have access to several bonus sites, though fewer than the promised 15. I counted just 9 of them: Eve Laurence, Cassidey, Charley Chase, Kayla Paige, Vaniity, Jade Marcela, Kristen Price, Video X Scenes and Dirty Teen Club. You have to log into them using the same username and password but if you just go to the Bonus Area tab on Taylor Rain you can access most of the movies and galleries. There are browsing tools there that let you browse by model (there are hundreds) as well as other settings. These videos can be streamed right in your browser in a Flash video player.

Conclusion

Club Taylor Rain offered a good collection of Taylor's hardcore and extreme anal porn plus some juicy and very numerous bonuses, but the lack of download options and streaming videos was a little disappointing. Her fans and fans of pornstars in general will still find a lot of value here and I think it's a site that is well worth joining.
