First impression

Porn lovers should not be unfamiliar with Digital Playground or their high-quality action and professional fucking from the likes of Jesse Jane, Tera Patrick, Jana Cova or any of the other girls who get raw for DP films.

This beautiful site is definitely nice to look at and navigate through, with lots of Flash intros, scene highlights and photos all conveniently laid out. The major disappointment here is the lack of any downloadable video content, though those satisfied with streaming Flash will enjoy hundreds of full-length films from the DP pros.

Basically, DigitalPlayground.com offers subscribers access to 155 films in total. The site is broken into nine categories listed along the top for navigation: Home, DP Girls, Movies, Photos, Virtual TV, Live, Extras, Search, and Favorites.

The Home page offers the latest updates in movies and photo galleries as well as top member picks, Coming Soon teasers and links to Behind the Scenes and Bonus Content video. It is all laid out well with a Flash player streaming assorted highlights to click on and link to quickly.

DP Girls offers one way to browse for the performers you’re looking for with a total of 551 different guys and girls to search through. Clicking on one of their thumbnails leads to their own personal page with a large nude or topless picture and links to all of their content on the site. The DP contract girls feature biographies and more extensive photo galleries, and each gallery features several thumbnails that blow up to large 835x555 pixel JPEG’s.

The Movies section provides you with the most recent DP titles on the main page, which currently includes titles like Jesse Jane Scream and the latest Jack’s Playground installment. You can then choose to browse through more Recently Added titles or the All Movies archive.

There are currently 155 films in the library, though Digital Playground promises regular monthly updates. Selecting the fuck film of your choice links to another page where it is broken down into scenes with the options to Watch it Now or Add to Favorites. Choosing to watch it opens a new browser with a large Flash player that can also be blown up to fullscreen. On average, buffering is quick and audio and video quality is decent, but it is certainly not equal to that of a DVD as stated in the intro.

The Photos section features an alphabetical list of all the DP porn stars laid out in thumbnails with dozens of professional model shoots for each.

The Virtual TV function is essentially a way of browsing through the entire catalog of movies quickly. The large flash player on the right side of the screen plays short snippets of random scenes and when one raises your interests (or something else), you can click on the screen to be taken directly to that video. The left side of the screen allows you to change “channels” up and down as well as narrow your search by star, keyword or movie. You can also adjust the scene level to low, medium or hot depending on the type of action you’re looking for. This is a nice option, but it is nothing more than an innovative way of searching through the long list of movies DP has to offer.

The Live portion is a site all in its own. Your membership allows you to chat for free with live webcam girls with lots to choose from, though you can do nothing more than chat as the site continually prompts you to buy private time with the girls.

DP Extras includes 55 Behind the Scenes videos and 113 Trailers. I thought this would also be the section where you find the bloopers as promised in the intro, though I could not locate them anywhere in the site. The Search is another way of looking for what you want with keywords and the Favorites area lets you store your top video clips and photo galleries.

Conclusion

Knowing what you’re getting into with access to 155 free streaming Digital Playground films, be forewarned that you cannot download any of them.

There is definitely a lot of great quality porn to watch, though the site often feels like one big advertisement for the Digital Playground films. While you can view each scene in flash and add them to your favorites provided you pay for a subscription, it seems wherever you turn you are prompted to ‘Visit Our Store Now!’

It is useful to those who want to preview the content of a film before deciding to purchase it, or for those who aren’t interested in downloading anyway.
