First impression

Swank Mag is the official site of Swank Magazine. It's much more than just a magazine, though there are archives of the issues in digital format here. You'll find a network of sites and thousands of scenes inside, and judging by the images and previews on the homepage it is a mix of hardcore action with hot porn star and European models.

Our opinion

Swank Magazine has a bit of a throwback design on its tour (actually I think it hasn't changed much in the past years), but it's left no doubt about its intention to bring you high quality hardcore with its hot models. The site is pretty massive and mostly exclusive from the look of things, and includes magazine archives and a network as part of every subscription. In terms of porn, it's a sometimes generic mix of hardcore, lesbian, threesomes/group and solo girl masturbation starring porn stars, amateurs and European models.

Huge Collection
Strength in numbers is certainly the idea here, as the library is impressive in its size. There were 800+ full length videos and 2,331+ photo sets in the collection at the time of my visit. Almost a thousand porn stars and models have been featured in the site's content as well.

Network Access
As the homepage promised you do get access to the entire porn archives of the Swank Pass network. There are 19 sites and they have different themes and interests, including 18-23 models, trannies, amateurs, big tits, real amateur girls and homemade porn to name just a few. The network is a beast of content: 5,788+ videos, 12,000+ pictures and 4,300+ girls.

Regular Updates
Swank Mag looks to update at least once a week, which keeps things active and growing even larger.

Swank Magazine Archives Included
The tour mentioned it but you do indeed get access to the Swank Magazine archives. At least to issues between 2006-2008. There is also archives of the other mags from the same company, like Genesis and Gent Magazine. You browse the magazines in a special viewer that literally lets you page through the issue online.

Poor Navigation
The site's members area is a bit dumpy. There are categories and an advanced search tool but things feel hacked together and don't always give you the results you expect. For example with search results the content seems random in its ordering, and not always accurate in terms of the original search query either.

Average Video Downloads & Streams
The video downloads are a bit varied but rarely exceed 'average' quality standards. The biggest and best downloads I came across were full length Windows Media and MP4 downloads. These had 720x480 screens (3-4 mbits), but the picture quality was still a bit murky in most of these (not sharp). Other movies come in poorer Windows Media downloads with 400x264 screens (<1 mbits), or worse. Media options are generally limited to 2 or 3 formats, including an iPod ready MP4 in many cases. You can also stream movies online instantly.

Galleries could fare better, and often had high res pictures (1600x1200) that looked great but many galleries have smaller max resolutions. You can browse galleries online or download them in zip files. Still, you should expect varying quality in the galleries as well. The size of galleries also varied from 5 to over 500 images in some sets.

Generic Content
There is a lot of porn and it is varied, including everything from anal to DP to babes stripping and masturbating alone. All of it had a bit of a generic feel to it, and most of it also seemed dated - being at least several years old. It isn't bad, but they aren't busting out anything too creative of novel here, either.

No Live Shows
The tour had mentioned free live shows, and I didn't find any such shows available in the members area.

Conclusion

A big collection of porn, but lots of generic action and downloads were pretty average.

Swank Mag has a big collection and comes with a lot of bonuses (network access), but I was left a little bored at times by what are largely generic and sometimes dated scenes. Media downloads were quite average compared to most other porn sites as well, which made it hard to give this mega site much of a score.

Competitors

Hardcore mega sites, you say?

Brazzers, Reality Kings, Naughty America, and Bang Bros are all HD networks with huge collections of hardcore reality and gonzo porn, mostly working with porn stars. Each network is worth looking into and I recommend you do.

Check out VideoBox as well, a massive and very affordable DVD collection that covers as wide a range of porn as Swank Mag - actually even wider.

If it was the European girls that brought you in, then have a look at 21 Sextury or Private - this site isn't as large but has stunning models and some awesome hardcore.
