Review summary: Wired Shemale does have a good sized collection and average video quality, but with no specific niche that they're trying to fill in the shemale world they just don't have enough on their own to entice you. The bonus network will take care of that part of things, but that doesn't help the site when it's being considered on its own.

First impression

Trannies are always interesting to watch when they're riled up and ready to fuck, but there are plenty of general shemale sites out there. Wired Shemales is not, as I had hoped, a site about shemales and electro stim. Instead it's a pretty run of the mill tranny fuck site that is going to need to pull out plenty of impressive moves in order to stand out in a crowded field.

The member's area doesn't really help with this - it is incredibly basic, almost painfully so, as there are two thumbnails that lead to the Pictures and Videos section, then a nav link underneath that shows the same with those two, plus the updates area. Now the trannies that I've seen so far have looked mighty fine, but they really need to pull out all the stops to get this one going.

Our opinion

So we're looking at a simple member's area, and a collection of 50 pictures and 80 videos. There is also an archives section that takes you to the original site design, and presents you with 187 picture sets and 169 videos. Let's start with the current collection, and we'll make our way over to the extras. As it stands, though, this is a decent sized exclusive collection. Unfortunately it has not updated since 2008.

The latest video pages are simple affairs, with a thumbnail link that goes to the file. These are full scene downloads only, and are offered in WMV. This version is shown at 640x480 and 2.62 mbps. The higher bitrate makes a big difference, and the camera work is good overall, but it's really just a bit above average. The archived videos are offered in AVI and are shown at.

The picture section is enticing as well, as these are shown in distinct scenes separate from the videos. The pictures come in sets of 200 with the option for a zip download, and the galleries are your standard fare design wise. The photos are shown at 1024x768 and are very good quality, much better than I was expecting. Archived pictures are shown at the same quality.

You won't see it within the member's area, but you do get access to the Ferro network, which has plenty of gorgeous shemale sites, including plenty of HD shemales. It's a great bonus to help prop this non updating shemale site right up, and you get some of the weirdest micro niche tranny action in the world with it.

Conclusion

The collection is a good size, and the videos and photos are both above average quality, but it's just not enough to compete in the crowded general shemale market. There are better values elsewhere, although the network access that comes with Wired Shemales makes it hard to pass up.
