First impression

Met Art is a very well respected nude art and fine photography website. It features the largest, freshest, and classiest collection of some of the most beautiful women you'll ever see. The beauty of the women is captured at its best by some of the world's most capable photographers. Met Art is "where flawless beauty meets art," so it's no wonder that it's the most imitated nude art site in the world.

Our opinion

The home page of Met Art is pretty busy with dozens of beauties vying for your attention in thumbnails to the latest updates. There's also a nifty feature which lets you choose your preferred browsing experience (i.e., resolution, slide show timing, and how many thumbnails per page). Along the top is a simple menu that includes movies, best of Met, and models. Since there are a lot of archives within Met Art, they've divided them up according to month and year. The updates are regular and generous, with 4 photo and video updates added per day. The bulk of the updates are photo galleries; while there are around 3 or 4 video updates per week.

There are several options to enjoy the videos; you can stream or download them in Flash (low and high speed), DivX, iPod format, Quicktime, PSP, Mpeg, and WMV. The videos play in a 1280x720 (HD 720p approx. 6.38 Mbps) sized screen. They generally last between 7 to 10 minutes and are of pretty good quality. Buffering and download speeds are a bit slow, though.

Photos come in various sizes/resolutions, such as low (approx. 758x1024 pixels), medium (approx. 1536x2048), and high (approx. 4080x5440). Other sets had their low resolution as 685x1024, medium as 1372x2048, and high as 2592x3872. I also saw other sizes, such as 1330x2000 and 2912x4368. Suffice it to say, the photos are larger than what you normally find in other paysites. The quality of the photos is very good, sometimes quite awesome, with at least 100 pictures in each gallery. Zip download and slide show options are available.

The movies are basically shot when there's a photo shoot going on; thus, it's behind the scenes footage. Despite this, there are still a lot of closeups of womanly body parts, so there's plenty good eye candy for erotica fans.

The photo galleries are what makes this site awesome. The women are extremely beautiful and sensual and appear to feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Bear in mind this is no hardcore site, so you won't see any women playing with themselves or anyone else. While there are some two-girl shoots, they don't engage in any sort of lesbian sex. They just frolick with each other, often touching, but not in any overt sexual manner.

Met Art is like Vogue magazine meeting erotica. The settings, colors, lighting, and everything that goes into the production of this eye popping content is every bit as creative and slick as the best of fashion magazines. Unlike fashion magazines, this site is all about nudity in its most natural, beautiful, and non-sleazy form. As I mentioned above, the women here are very beautiful, and their beauty and sensuality is further heightened by the professionalism, creativity, and talent of the behind the scenes staff. Met Art is truly a gem among the erotica sites.

I highly recommend Met Art. The quality of the content is beautiful, professional, and creative, which shows the pretty and sensual women in their best possible light and angles.

The updates are very generous, with 4 new photo galleries and/or videos added weekly. Since the updates are so regular, your assumption of a large archive would be correct; there's a ton of erotic content in here. Despite this, however, navigation is very simple, and you can easily find all the content without any undue hunting.

Met Art is truly a high quality site that all softcore erotica lovers would love.
