First impression

Shemale Video Club has plenty of lofty claims when you first check out the site. Thousands of shemale videos are the first main claims, and it's always interesting to see if the non exclusive shemale hardcore sites can live up to claims like that. There looks to be a variety of shemales from the ultra femme petites to the curvy and wild Brazilians.

The member's area is pretty much identical to the tour, which is pretty much identical to every porn DVD download site in existence. The keyword search allows you to check through titles and pornstar names, and you have a myriad of browsing options such as most downloaded, next updates, and new scenes. Then you can also look through the collection under its sub niche, of which Shemale Video Club has a large amount of. They seem to have a handle on everything that you would expect to see out of a hardcore shemale porn site, now let's see if they can make their unique mark on things.

Our opinion

It doesn't take long for Shemale Video Club to fall flat on its face - you pretty much just need to look at the all DVD link to see the problem. There are only 57 DVDs in total, and with an average number of scenes there is no bloody way that this is going to touch even 1,000, let alone multiple thousands. This leaves it smaller than other shemale video sites, although they do seem to be trying to catch up with an update every 3-4 days.

Let's take a look at the DVD pages. You get a listing of the pornstars featured, the genres, a quick description, and the box cover. Down below are preview thumbs, which gives you a scene page listing the full scene and one minute clip downloads. You also get a link to the screencaps offered.

The first full scene download offered is WMV, and this is shown at 640x480 and 2 mbps. Although the resolution isn't so hot, the bitrate really brings through a high level of quality, and allows you to just expand out the video size with no loss of quality. If you want a faster download, you'll want to grab the MPG, which is shown at 449x336 and 1 mbps. While it doesn't look as good as the proceeding quality, it's still a nice option for those of you on slower connections. Finally there's the one minute clips, which are provided in WMV and shown at the same quality as the main WMV. They are missing a streaming option, which is pretty common on these kinds of sites, although you don't often see screencaps on them.

These caps are given in sets of over 100 pictures per set, and they are average quality caps shown at 640x480. It's a very basic gallery, and you do not get any slideshows or zip downloads.

Conclusion

Shemale Video Club really doesn't do anything to stand out in the shemale dvd crowd, and they especially aren't winning on the collection front. With some time to grow they could get a decent number of DVDs up, given the rate of their growth, but they're not quite there yet.
