First impression

Freddy 18 gives you the impression of being an actual amateur site with a home grown style of tour, and a lot of enthusiasm about what they offer. Freddy himself looks to be a cute twink with one hell of an ass, along with plenty of friends to help take full advantage of it.

The first thing that is mentioned when you log in is to make sure that you know you have full access to your bonus site. Then you're put onto the main member's area, which has a fun an amateur look to it. The sets are listed front and center, with a mix of video and photo sets. Our opinion

Freddy 18 is a smaller part of the Alex Boys site, but it looks like it has enough going on to merit talking about it on its own. There are 16 episodes that feature video and photos, while there are 11 that are photo only. You don't end up seeing too much of Freddy himself - he's usually on the other side of the camera, enjoying himself while he sees his twink friends getting nasty with each other.

Amateur shot twink sites are just as interesting as seeing said amateur twink, so we'll see how this goes. The updates are a bit hard to track, as you do not get more than the date on the latest update - they are actively updating, at least, and look to be about a once a week deal.

The episode pages are pretty simple, with a section for the photo galleries and the video. Although both photo and videos are split up, there are not multiple scenes per episode - they're just cutting it down into smaller bits. Since Freddy 18 is sporting a lot more photo sets than videos, I'll start with these for once. I am a big fan of the quality - it's very good looking at 682x1024 or 853x1280 (you can toggle small and large photos) and still has a touch of that candid feel that the amateurs bring. The galleries are pretty basic, and you won't find a slideshow, but you do get a zip download to get you taken care of all at once.

The videos are offered in WMV clip downloads only, and the download speed is pretty slow so you're going to be waiting a bit for these. The clips are about 3-5 minutes long, and are shown at a stunning and unexpected 1280x720 and 2 mbps. Now that's what I call a pleasant surprise, and even though it still has plenty of amateur influence, the videos are excellent through and through. The themes tend to be a mix of hardcore and solo action, depending on who Freddy comes across.

As you can tell already, Freddy 18 gives you bonus access to Alex Boys with a simple drop down box, and gives you plenty of additional amateur gay and twink porn action. There is also Boylantis, which once again gives you more hot twink action.

Conclusion

Freddy 18 is a bit on the small side, but it does offer an interesting experience. You probably aren't going to get a ton out of this on its own, but the easy jump to the main site along with the bonus site helps to take the bite out of that problem. And with time the collection will be big enough to compete.
