First impression

Karups is a name we know well here at the office. In fact, this will be the third visit we've made to the Hometown Amateurs edition of the site. Two years have passed in the interim, and the tour page is still the same design we remember, but the reduced-quality samples and preview pics are of different girls in a different mix of softcore and hardcore sex scenarios.

We loved what Karups Hometown Amateurs had to offer in our visit two years back, but has the site kept pace with itself? Will it live up to its promises of 1+ million photos and high definition videos?

Our opinion

Karups HA has now been online for an incredible nine years and during all of them it has been an active site. Back in 2009 you could expect a few updates every few days, but in 2011 that's changed for the better. There were one or more video updates most days of the week, and one or more gallery updates most days of the week as well. It looked like 6 out of 7 days there were multiple updates to check out.

There is little better than watching a site grow more active over time, making its already huge library even more daunting and deep.

Speaking of that library, they made the same "more than a million pictures" claim in 2009 and we confirmed it then. Right now they are probably closer to 1.2+ million photos. There are about 7.5 thousand galleries, and each has between 150-200 images in them. The galleries have Low Res (1024x864) and High Res (1000x1500) sets that you can browse through online or download in convenient zip files. Galleries added prior to 2007 are only available in the 'Low Res' size.

If your memory is that good, you'll see that image options haven't changed since our last visit. I was a little disappointed that Karups hadn't taken things up a notch here. The High Res photos still look great, but they could always be larger...

Since early 2010 Karups Hometown Amateurs has offered upgraded and varied media options. These include MP4s with 1280x720 screens (720pHD; 6+ Mbits) that have an excellent playback quality. You'll have a WMV download with a 960x540 screen (2+ Mbits), and an iPod-ready download in MP4/M4V format. Older movies are still in their lower quality settings (typically WMV only, and 640x480 screens). Anything added since 2009 looks great, and since 2010 awesome. Older stuff is often in clips-only and not as high quality. Running times are 15-20 minutes for most scenes.

In terms of material, Karups is keeping up to the same antics as always. Their models are real amateur girls, mostly from 18-23 years old, from all around the world. There are European girls, Latinas, Asians, Americans, girls with big tits, with bubble butts, etc. They really have a diverse culling of talent.

The sex is also spread the same way: from softcore to hardcore. There are sets of pretty girls toying and stripping alone, as well as of them playing with hard cocks, giving wet blowjobs, and being hard fucked. There isn't a ton of extreme stuff but you will find anal, threesomes, and lesbian action.

The site's diversity is really one of its biggest strengths in my opinion. It all fits in the larger hardcore/softcore contexts, but they mix in some fetishes and special interests, like uniforms, fantasies, feet worship, etc. These aren't the main stroke of the action, but there's lots of it mixed in, which kept things fresh and allowed you a different experience depending on what you wanted to see.

Navigating the site is still an easy task as well. You'll have various categories, top lists, and an advanced search tool. The tool is the best way to browse. It lets you layer options together to get very specific lists of content. For example you can choose the setting, the breast size, the type of sex, etc and get an accurate list of videos or picture or both that fit those requirements.

Conclusion

Karups Hometown Amateurs has made two major changes since our last visit: 1, they added high definition video and other media options; 2, they are updating more frequently and have more content than ever before to offer. For fans of real amateur girls in all types of solo and hardcore action, Karups is a great pick and a reliable source for content.
