True Amateurs is a brand-new site, and that's always an exciting thing to come across. You can get in there now for a good price and be one of the first to rate scenes, see the real-life amateur models, and even send in your own tapes and earn some cash. The site is still small, but with your support, it can grow into something big and bold and truly self-submit amateur style.

Intro
My first impression of the site was that it is was really small, and I mean only a small number of videos. My second impression was that the videos were excellent quality. This made me wonder how amateur they really were. You know, there are sites out there that say they are amateur but actually, they are porn studios using first-timers, and the content is shot by professionals. There are notes on the tour about how you can submit your videos and earn some cash from them; the site pays you to use them, I guess.

They will have to be high quality and straight - there are some cute babes here and their BFs, with shower sex, on-the-bed sex, chubby men, slim girls, 18 + teen babes and older women too. The videos were mainly filmed from one static camera, and this was better quality than I was expecting. With homemade amateur porn, you can often get shaky cams and lighting; not so here.

Content
As the site was only a few weeks old when I saw it, there were only 18 videos. These ran for around 20 minutes each though, and played out like good-length porn scenes, and were good quality. The home page also showed me what was lined up as coming next, and there were future posts heading off into the distance to look forward to.

Movies were shown at 1,920 x 1,080 HD and a standard definition in streams, and it's a big screen that works well. You can also download in various qualities, in Mp4 files. They have 720p at up to 8,000 kbps, and also 480p and 320p which should do for your mobiles. Movies also come with a preview, but there are no screencaps or photos to go with them.

True Amateurs is big and bold. The text, the design, the screen, everything is larger than life, and that makes it very easy to find what you're looking for. The top menu is basically Videos, Home, Girls and then some promotions, and an account area where you can check up on your comments and membership. The content is displayed in large sample shots that come with members' rates and lead to the viewing pages. Again, it's big stuff. A large screen, big thumbs-up and down buttons for rates, large Download button and your choice of files and a comments box.

The index pages come with good filter options, which will become more useful as the site grows. The top menu also had drop-downs to filter content and so does the model index with 20+ girls. No stats or details just likes and links and a place for your comments. It's a simple site to use with a bit of advertising down at the bottom of the pages.

Extras
You don't get anything extra here apart from some ideas for other sites to join at discounts. There are no galleries either - I mean, this site is really small - and some extras would be a good idea, even non-exclusive ones, while we with for more updates. The tour also suggests that you can send in your own tapes and maybe get paid for their use, but I didn't find anything about this in the members' area.

What you have to consider, though, are the prices and membership. They run an unusual system here where you can pay week on week, or every two weeks, recurring, but they also have the monthly sign up, and it's only €19.99 per month, at the moment. My prices showed in Euros, but there may be regional variations depending on where you are. There were no hidden charges on sign-up, so that's good.

Conclusion

Give it time, and True Amateurs should do well. It's still small and new and getting a membership now is a good idea: we don't know when they will put up their current low prices to a more standard level. The movies at True Amateurs are high quality, and yes, they still look like real amateur guys and girls in hardcore. There are HD videos, streams and downloads, lots of interactive options and easy navigation, but there are no images or extras, and it's still small. Updates are weekly though, so hold on, hang out, get your cams ready and be inspired.

Competitors

Amateur porn is everywhere, but you want good quality porn with real amateurs. Check out our Amateur category in our cats list, and you'll find loads to consider. We know that MOFOS is an amateur site (run by professionals) where they have first-time babes come along and make porn. That's' good quality and has loads to see, but it's not as real amateur as True Amateurs.

ATK Galleria does the same kind of thing, with genuine amateurs filmed by professionals, but if you want something that's put together by an enthusiastic amateur porn maker, then you need Karup, and in this case, Karups Hometown Amateurs. I've not been into this site for a while but last time I was there I got a genuine amateur feel and a lot of good times.

And, another recommendation from me as I have a thing about European girls: Czech AV is a good site for amateur and adult videos, with hot babes and boys and a lot of neat amateur sex, but filmed in a very professional way.
