First impression

X-Art, formerly known as Beauty is Divine, has been working very hard to build a library and a name for themselves. The site is pure erotica, only they have an interest in intercourse and more explicit sex and insertions than other sites in the niche might. The samples showcased are of stunningly beautiful models from around the world. Their bodies are lithe, natural and perfectly balanced. According to the tour we will get to see these beautiful dames in huge high resolution photographs and stunning high definition footage, all of it absolutely exclusive and original.

I've not visited X-Art before and was quite looking forward to getting into the members area after my perusal through the tour pages. I wrote up my report on what being a member of X-Art is like after sign up. Read on for details.

Our opinion

X-Art has a very simple caption under its logo: "Beautiful erotica". That sort of understatement is reflective of everything here, I think. They are subtle in all aspects, from their web design to their technique shooting galleries and video. The website should maybe be a little less subtle, though. I really loved the design, but browsing could only be carried out by paging through thumbnails of all updates, of all videos, or by model. A few categories and tools would be nice, because the site is starting to get big fast.

The accelerated growth is directly attributable to the promised thrice-weekly updates. A new video or gallery is added every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and so far without incident each update has been put online on time. This is a faster pace of updates than they were previously offering. It looks like they were responding to some requests from members, from what I was reading in the various comments on videos and galleries.

So far I am more than content with the technical details of the site's operation, and it is time for what I most look forward to when reviewing: checking out the content itself.

The first thing worth addressing when it comes to content are the girls. They are the heart of every scene and episode, and with their sort of beauty that is only fitting. The girls are mostly just amateur models from around the world, though there was at least one porn star: Tori Black. The girls all have a natural beauty, and the team at X-Art has wisely let that natural beauty well alone, not fussing it up with gawdy, caked on makeup. Some girls look as though they may not have makeup on at all, which is testament to the skill of their makeup artists, I think.

The models are mostly petite and slender, though some are more athletic. Breasts range from nothing more than modest bumps with pink nubs for nipples to more full, round and plump breasts that are ample and judder seductively as the girls pose and move their firm bodies.

Most of the models are content to get totally naked and show themselves to the camera in any position. The shoots are carried out in locations that add interest to the photos: stark modernist lofts and flats with dark wood floors, high ceilings, pale concrete walls, or other luxury residences. Some scenes are shot out doors. The artists that film and shoot the galleries are just that: artists. Their interests are in passion and sexuality, in the allure and temptation of the erotic, and in every piece of work they create they are chasing after that allusive, temporal erotic energy and capturing it on film.

To that end, you will see them doing boy/girl penetration and blow job scenes. There are also girl on girl episodes and solo masturbation with toys and fingers. These are not raunchy, typical hardcore movies, though. They are sizzling and sensual, with a lot of the passion between the couples captured in their breathing, their never-ceasing groping and handling of each other's bodies. You will see explicit penetration with cock and toys. Going by the comments on some of these scenes by the site's photographers, they are wanting to expand into this erotica-hardcore hybrid, which so far members have received with a lot of fanfare.

All of this gorgeous, high art content is even more impacting with the media options the site presents them in. Keep in mind that the media options are only part of what makes the scenes so visually stimulating: the artists use light and textures in a way that brings these scenes to another level.

Movies can be downloaded and saved permanently in 1080p High Definition Windows Media or Quicktime files. Both have the 1920x1080 resolutions, and both have crisp, clear images. Bit rates hover around 3-4 Mbits/s for each.

There are also 720p High Definition downloads in both formats. Sometimes they are mislabeled in the members area as being 960x540, they are not. They are 1280x720 pixels, just as clear and as impacting. They both play at 2-3 Mbits/s each.

You will be able to stream the movies online as well. They play in a Flash video player with a 640x360 resolution. It isn't as large or as impressive as the HD options but it looks very good, and is wonderfully convenient. Running times for all movies hover around 3-10 minutes. The longest one on the site is 16 minutes (Tori Black in a boy/girl episode).

The picture galleries here are perhaps more stunning than the video. At their large settings, the images are massive: 4000x2667 pixels. They are rich with color and detail. You feel you are looking through a window, not into a monitor! The galleries can be looked through online or downloaded in Small (1200x800), Medium (2000x1334) or Large (4000x2667) settings in convenient zip files. Sets average around 50 pictures each.

The only real extra for members is the behind-the-scenes blog. They post galleries of pics taken during the shoots, of girls getting ready or posing for one of the site's artists. Models also have brief biographies.

Conclusion

X Art is a gorgeous site. It has beautiful girls, truly artistic content that dabbles in hardcore and explicit sex, and a quality of production that is unmatched. With 1080p HD downloads and massive high resolution galleries the site is a wonderful pick for fans of erotica.
