First impression

There is a lot to take in on the tour of Chocolate Models, as it's packed with information and images. But it does tell you exactly what you are going to find inside, and the reason it's so packed with info is that the members' area is equally as packed with content. This site, from New York City, in an online magazine and it's been around since 2001. Inside, the archive dates back to 2007 and is made up of a collection of videos and images featuring black girls, babes with phat asses, twerkers, strippers, exotic dancers and all kinds of big bottomed, big boobed ebony girls caught in exclusive photo sets and movies.

Our opinion

Chocolate Models describes itself as an online magazine, and it does have that look and feel to it. Bright colours, big pages, big girls, all ebony, and loads to flick through and see. It's definitely a site for everyone who enjoys seeing gorgeous amateur girls, and some who work as professional models, in well-taken photos and movies, and it comes with an amazing update schedule with 16 new models added in the month before my visit. They are adding to what's already a huge site with plenty to see.

The Content
Everything is magazine site style here, which means there's a different look to the site than your standard porn site and the magazines are arranged by date through the years. Click to a year, click on a month, click on vids or pics. There are over 1,200 videos and over 870 photos sets though counting the exact number is difficult due to the way things are set up, but rest assured, you have plenty, and that means excellent value for money.

The content is generally softcore with black and some Latina models posing, showing off their asses and boobs, stripping down and also wearing very revealing underwear. Movies are shown in Flash streams at 640 x 360 and downloads are available in Mp4 at up to 1,920 x 1,080 HD, older ones may be lower resolutions of course as the content dates back to pre-HD days. The streaming leads you over to the tube site in a new tab, and the downloads come straight from the magazine pages, with a lower resolution Mp4 to suit your phones.

Photo sets give you the models' stats and large sample shots. Select one, and you find simple thumbnail pages where the pics open up one at a time (a lot of back button use is needed) and where the images click up to 1,600 x 1,200 in size. Quality is fine (although some older vids and pics are lacking in quality) and there are around 40 pics per set. Zip files are also provided so you can take full sets.

Navigation
I wasn't sure about navigation at first as every time I clicked on something a new tab opened, but then I realised that actually, this is quite handy. The main page stays in your first tab, and when you have finished with a year's collection, you simply close that tab, and there's your original one so you can click on another year from there. There is no combined list of videos or videos, so you do have to search year by year, and you can use a search box, but only for the year you are in.

Extras
Let me just run through the rest of the menu. After the links to the last five years' worth of content, you have a link to a VOD site. Everything is explained there, and there's quite a lot of explanation, and the site is still catching up on adding all the content as this is a new venture. Find something you like the look of and click the link (another new tab) and there you find the streaming movies: girls pole dancing, girls twerking, that kind of thing. There are four free VOD channels included with your membership so you, unlike others, should not have to pay extra for this part of the site.

You will also find a place in the main menu where you can vote for models, read a blog which is up to date and carries more pics and news, visit the Tube site, find some freebies and find the comments area. The freebies, by the way, can only be accessed after you have been a member for a certain period of time or have a recurring membership.

Conclusion

Once I got used to the site design I did okay, but it does take some getting used to and can be frustrating with all those new tabs and links to other sites, the fact there is no list of all vids and all videos, there's lots of text to read to work it all out, and it does look pretty old fashioned. But hey! The content is fine, though older pics and vids may be lower quality, and it does stay on its theme. It's all about big-assed black babes with big boobs stripping down, dancing and showing you what they've got. On that level, it works fine.

Competitors

Ebony sites are known for showing you girls with big asses and big boobs, and assuming that's what you were looking for, here are a few more ebony sites. Bear in mind that unlike Chocolate Models, these are not magazine style sites, so they work in a different way, and some are hardcore.

We've just reviewed Round And Brown, for example, and here you have access to the Reality Kings network as well as this site. It's ebony and hardcore with gorgeous porn babes and an emphasis on the round and brown asses of gorgeous ebony girls.

Brown Bunnies is similar with its 10,000 + original videos, lots of hardcore and access to the Bang Bros network.

And, if you want to branch out around the world and be more "ethnic" than just ebony, ATK Exotics might suit you. Here you have girls who are ebony, Latina, Asian and Indian in video clips and a massive collection of photos. Here they claim to add over 4,000 new images each week.
