First impression

If you've sniffed around online porn sites at all in the past few years you've undoubtedly come across some of ZTODs material. The name stands for Zero Tolerance on Demand, the online arm of Zero Tolerance Studios. According to them, they were the first adult studio to start shooting in HD and one of the first to offer true internet-based membership porn sites. They've been online since 2005 and they are considered one of the very best online porn collections running today. With bucket loads of high quality HD porn and many of your favorite pornstars the site is very promising. We logged in to see how good it really is on the inside.

Our opinion

When it comes to DVD Archive sites there are a few big names that are really worth joining. ZTOD is without a doubt in the top five and may just be the best of the bunch, period. It will come down to what you're looking for as porn viewer, as is always the case.

There are some differences between ZTOD and the other big name archives but perhaps none is so important as where the content comes from. At ZTOD it's all produced by the Zero Tolerance Studios and as such has similarities in quality and vision, though it still spans across many niches. This is in contrast to some other archives that have a bunch of DVD titles from various porn studios. While it means ZTOD's library is smaller (but still huge), it also means that ZTOD has a tighter control on quality. You won't find old, low budget productions here with nasty models. You just find hot pornstars in high quality, high production porn scenes of all stripes and colors.

The tour pages are a really good way to get acquainted with the diversity, depth and range of porn available to ZTOD members. Basically you can see the entire members area there, only when you click on any scene to view the action you won't be able to view the content (obviously). You can still see how much content there is and have a good look at how you'll be browsing your porn. You can browse by four major categories that are DVDs, Scenes, Pictures and Pornstars. Each has its own sub-menu. DVDs allow you to even see the most popular, for the past week, month or year or to just check out the newest additions. Pornstars are organized very well and in similar ways - - see who has the most content, who is most popular and get a list of all of her movies and galleries to date. There is also a search engine you can plug queries into and get reasonably accurate results.

Content comes in a bunch of formats and at this point just about every scene here is going to be available in multiple HD formats. I believe some of the very very old updates (now several years old) will not offer HD, but the bulk of this library will.

And I do mean high-definition. Movies can be downloaded in up to 1080p HD formats (MP4 H.264 files) that have startling clear image and sound (they run at 9.43 mbps). Other options include 720p in MP4 H.264 format (5.29 mbps) and various 360p standard resolution options in DivX AVI, Windows Media and MP4 formats. Streaming options are available at up to 720p HD in MP4 of flash formats as well as several others. The in-browser Flash video player looks fantastic and was fast to load. Download speeds were very fast but the size of the 1080p files are still big enough to make those take some time - - we're talking up to 2 GB files here. You can use download managers with this site, though, so that should make things easier for you.

Picture galleries will be less than the videos in terms of quality, but the images are professional and look sharp. Average gallery sizes run over 150 pictures per set. You can browse through the pictures in a hands-free slideshow online or download the entire set in a zip file that's provided as a convenience. Images are 600x900 pixels and generally they are part of scenes from DVDs with lots of posing/stripping by the model(s) before the hardcore begins.

New scenes are added to ZTOD every week, but several scenes are added at a time. It looks like a new DVD (typically 5 scenes) is put online every seven days, in other words. Access to the sister studios Third Degree and Black Ice (ebony porn) are included as well, and those sites function in the same manner (and qualities) as ZTOD does.

I highly recommend you visit the site and look around for yourself. You can do everything, but watch the movies without signing up so go see the variety of hardcore, lesbian, extreme and pornstar sex waiting to be enjoyed, you won't regret it.

Conclusion

ZTOD is one of my personal favorites when it comes to pornstars and high definition porn. They have a massive library with thousands of scenes and models, lots of variety when it comes to hardcore, lesbian and group sex and some of the biggest names in porn, including Jenna Haze who is my all time favorite. This is a site that always does what it promises or exceeds those promises and it comes highly recommended from this reviewer.
