First impression

The Pornstar Network is huge, and their homepage leaves little doubt to it. They promise more than 50 thousand porn movies here. The content doesn't seem to have any limits when it comes to what they get down with, either: big tits, amateurs, gang bangs, POV sex, MILFs, fetishes, and more.

We spent a good deal of time exploring the site as members, downloading, streaming videos and browsing picture galleries. Read on for an in depth look at all that Pornstar Network had to offer.

Our opinion

Pornstar Network is a massive mega site and DVD Archive and as such offers a huge archive. Every video in here is available for streaming, but if you wish to download all of the scenes, you will have to upgrade your membership.

Huuuuuuuuuuuge Collection!
The Pornstar Network consists of 60 sites and a huge number of collected DVDs. Over 5,000 scenes come from the sites, the rest from the DVDs. In total there were 63,923 scenes to stream or download at the time of my visit - that's truly massive! With a lot of sites this size you won't get any exclusive material but Pornstar Network hooks you up with 5,800 scenes that are. Most of these appear to come from those 60 network sites.

There are 45 total niches that the content fits into. The majority are some variation of hardcore fucking: big tits, anal, threesomes, POVs, MILFs, Lesbians, Strap On, Tits Fuck, etc. There are also some fetish scenes. Mostly though it's just good, really hardcore fucking with your favorite porn stars.

It's Called Pornstar Network For A Reason
This site only seems to care about porn stars - there are 9,545 of them in their model index. Most have a bio written up and stats. Each profile also links out to all of their picture galleries and movies. These are famous stars, both from the past few years of production as well as some that are hot right now. The top rated models right now are Sasha Grey (#1), Gianna Michaels, Bree Olson, Jenna Haze and Eva Angelina. Amy Reid, Angel Dark and Lela Star are high in top lists as well. These girls have more than a few scenes, too - some models have over 100+ in the archives.

1080p HD Content Quality
Another thing that set the Pornstar Network apart from other mega sites like it is that they do offer 1080p HD video downloads. They are MP4 files with 1920x1080 screens (6 mbits) and they look fantastic. You can also find 720p HD downloads as MP4 files with 1280x720 screens.

Plenty of Viewing Options
Each scene comes with a good number of download options, though not always the same options for all movies. You can usually count on DVD quality Windows Media (720x480 screens; 2 mbits) and QuickTime (640x480 screens; 2 mbits) downloads. There are also AVI downloads and of course the embedded Flash video player will let you stream a movie instantly online without having to download it at all.

Picture galleries can be browsed through online or you can save them in zip-archives. The images are usually hi-res and go up to 1600x1200 pixels in size. Some galleries will mirror scenes in the library, others are independent solo masturbation shoots.

Multiple Daily Updates
Pornstar Network is not only a large mega site, it's a very active one. It updates multiple times every day. The MoviesZ section (that costs extra) is the most active area on the site updating a few new DVDs per day - that's right, full DVDs, not just scenes. The rest of the site updates with 1-4 new scenes or DVDs. It's a lot of activity.

Advanced Browsing Options
With a collection as large as this one they had to come up with some good navigational tools. They didn't disappoint. You have many avenues to pursue content in - browse by model, scene, DVD or the sites independently. On top of that there are categories and filters for listing content by date, popularity and other manners. These tools, easy to use, make navigating and browsing the material here easy and enjoyable. One of the best things they've done is to make sure every movie is tagged with the models in them, so that when browsing by models, you get lists of EVERYTHING that girl is in.

Mobile Browsing & Downloads
Pornstar Network has a mobile-accessible layout and viewing options. Even if you are on the road, or just don't want to fire up the computer, your cell phone will be enough to get plugged into your huge collection of porn wherever you go.

Live Shows Not Included & No Live Cams
The tour promised live cam shows and the members area had a section for Live Shows. You can see 2 minute trailers of the shows but not the full episodes, unless you join a third party site. I was pretty disappointed with this. It feels at times that Pornstar Network just can't stop asking for more money!

Some Exclusive Sites Not Updating
Not all of the 60 network sites included update frequently and some not at all.

Only 1-2 Thousand HD Videos
The HD viewing options aren't there for every movie. Out of the 60,000+ episodes only 1-2 thousand are going to give you an HD download.

Conclusion

A huge collection of great quality DVD porn of all varieties, plus exclusive scenes with thousands of pornstars.

Pornstar Network lives up to its name, delivering a huge collection of pornstar models in a diverse mix of niche action. Media options weren't consistent for every scene, but most offer at least one great quality download, and over a thousand videos offered a High Definition playback. With over a dozen scenes added daily you'll have trouble keeping pace with the action here, and that's just as it should be. The site did fail to deliver on the promises of live action, but as a porn video collection it's a site that is at the top of its game.

Competitors

Pornstar Network is big but there is another DVD porn site that comes to mind and rivals it: Videobox. This focuses entirely on DVD porn and offers around 40-50 thousand scenes at the time of our last visit. Updates are daily and they add a lot of new scenes. You just don't get a better deal than this if you want porn straight from DVDs!

A few other DVD networks are going to be worth looking at if you like porn stars. Digital Playground offers HD videos with the hottest porn stars and they have a big library. VideosZ isn't a small archive either, and they have some fantastic quality content.

The exclusive reality porn mega sites sometimes include DVDs as part of the extras in their members area, but have their own large and totally original assortment of hardcore porn with hot porn star babes. Check out the big four: Brazzers, Reality Kings, Naughty America and Bang Bros.
