First impression

Movies can be downloaded in gorgeous 720p HD Windows Media files. These have a 1280x720 pixel resolution and play at a 8.6 mbits/s bit rate. There is a 1080p HD Windows Media download as promised; however, it will only be available to those that are longterm subscribers or that signed up for a year subscription. It has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution and a 11.5 mbits/s bit rate. These looked amazing, but I preferred the 720p HD file. It wasn't as huge to download and looked more crisp in my opinion.

There are a handful of standard definition downloads as well, including Windows Media and MPEG1 options which have a 768x432 resolution and look great. There are MPEG4's as well as iPod ready downloads. You can choose between full-length downloads, clips or short 1-minute long mini clips. Finally, there are several ways to stream any of the movies online in a Flash player that lets you customize the settings. At their best they offer 720p HD streams! Most scenes run about 35 to 40 minutes long.

Each episode on the network has a picture gallery. These are professional, crisp and gorgeous photographs but they aren't very big. They come in 798x532 pixel resolutions. You can browse them online, watch them in an automated slideshow or download them in convenient zip files. These are handy, as most galleries have upwards of 1,000 images now - it seems they just put every single snapshot online.
