First impression

There’s no questioning the beauty of Dannii Harwood. She’s a busty, well curved blonde with wonderful teeth and a great pair of lips (both sets). Her site launched back in January of 2010 and I’ve come across it more than once in the past. The tour showcases this sexy minx and everything she gets up to in front of the camera. Her themes seem to sway between glamour and bondage fetishes – quite an interesting combination!

Unlike most solo girls that typically hail from the US, Dannii is a born and bred British babe. There’s a short video on the tour showcasing her naughty side and that gorgeous British accent just drives me crazy!

Our opinion

Signing in and you’re taken to a minimalistic homepage that features a welcome message from Dannii. In it she lists her personal email address to chat with the star and mentions a voting system where you get to decide what comes in next month’s content release. The site looks good, but it is a little skinny in terms of design – we’ll come to that later. First things first, let’s get to the goodies.

Classic erotic British model content

I don’t think I’ve come across a content diversity like Dannii’s before. For a solo girl, this one certainly has a good range of niche material. As I would expect from such a beautiful model, there are a lot of scenes that focus on classic stripping and sexy play. A lot of the content plays out in a “look how sexy I am” format – I don’t think this is a lack of ways to sell herself, I just think Dannii knows that her main demographic is going to like submissively accepting anything she says.

So what of the kinky stuff? Well, there are lesbian scenes that are mainly focused on domination. Girls will be gaged, chained and controlled by Dannii in a variety of settings and styles. I only found one video that contained a man and he was on his knees being whipped with a thick chunk of leather around his neck. Dannii has some outdoor scenes and covers foot fetish content on occasion.

I think my favorite thing about Dannii is her hair – she always seems to have the most luscious golden locks that are really curly at the bottom. I know – it’s strange to focus on her hair when she has a beautiful pair of tits and a great behind. Still, she deserves praise for keeping that clump of fiber in check. On the whole, Dannii’s a beautiful girl and does all of the niches she attempts to fill well. There’s always the risk of a model just not understanding what makes good porn good but I think Dannii gets it right every time.

Single content format in standard quality

Virtually all of the scenes are in M4V format. I dislike this for a few reasons mainly because it isn’t a default content format for Windows Media Player. If you have VLC Player though, this won’t be an issue, but when a site specifically mentions its multiple format functionality, I expect it to have a download option for the default player on the most distributed operating system of all time.

The videos come in at 960x540 pixels and have a 4 Mb/s bitrate. While the resolution is a little low, the high stream rate more than makes up for it. Subjectively, the scenes were solid for viewing on a full screen 23 inch monitor. Everything’s professionally produced and recorded with a top quality camera – I saw no artifacts and the audio came through better than I expected. Pictures on the site come in at 1200x800 pixels and are well lit, lack watermarks and have slideshow functionality. Sadly, no downloadable ZIP files are available, meaning mass local storage of photographs isn’t possible.

Above average archive size but update issue

The archive currently sits around 240 videos and an equal number of image sets are available. Note that the images are unique and have a decent quality at standard resolution. Sadly, Dannii Harwood has no information regarding its update schedule in the member’s area – no dates, no future release teasers and no general pointers to the existence of upcoming material. Thankfully, there are updates – one every week – but to access this information you have to log out and go back a few pages to the tour.

The odds and ends

As promised, there is a place for members to suggest upcoming scenes as well as wallpaper pages so you can set Dannii as your desktop background. These aren’t bad, but I want more from a solo girl! The whole purpose of signing up to see one girl in action is to get as much of her as possible. She has a Twitter account, but I feel as if members should get a special blog area or at least candid pictures. If I’m honest I feel a little disappointed with regard to this.

Discounts but no bonuses

Dannii has a discount program for her girlfriends where you get to sign up for 50% less than the usual price. It isn’t free content, but it’s better than nothing. There are a total of 8 bonus girls and all of them have a free preview set at the bottom of Dannii’s girlfriends page.

Conclusion

Dannii Harwood’s solo girl site is full of decent quality content. Her ambition to fill as many fetish niches as possible is a solid 10 and deserves all the praise it can get. She’s a gorgeous girl with a wonderful body and, as I mentioned, great hair. The downside to Dannii’s website is that it doesn’t have great functionality, download options or some form of extra access to Dannii. If you can handle the lack of interaction, it’s a great website – the content is hot and she’s one of the few solo models that is still updating with content.

Competitors

Lane Sisters is an example of a competitive site that has a heavy user and model interaction system. If you want some more hardcore material and like live shows, these are your girls.

Danielle FTV is probably one of the best amateur girl sites out there. Plus she is dedicated to keeping in touch with members.
