First impression

The first thing you'll see when you load up Tranny Lounge is a big dick tranny with so much lust in her eyes that you might think she's about to jump out of the computer and go down right on your dick. They certainly seem to know where to find enthusiastic shemales, and the tour promises sound pretty attractive.

The member's area of Tranny Lounge is close to being too busy, but manages to avoid it by being well organized. A navigation sidebar has options for the main site and the bonus network, a top navigation bar has a somewhat truncated list of options, and then a few more sections going right down the middle. There's a most popular and latest updates listed in the sidebar, and a network stats box.

Our opinion

Tranny Lounge gives the impression of being a small site in a big network, and going through to the episode page enforces this feeling. There are 24 episodes in total, and the site has not been updated in a long long time. The episodes offered at the site are duplicated across a few of the other shemale sites that this company runs, so you aren't looking at completely exclusive material. Given the fact that these seem to be pulled off of DVDs, it's actually unlikely that this tranny site has any exclusive material on the main site.

It's not entirely all doom and gloom, but I figured I would get a vast majority of the negative out of the way before I delved further in to the collection. The site continues to be laid out very nicely, with an episode listing page that gets you the models in the scene, quick links to the different parts available in the episode, and then a well designed video page.

The video pages for Tranny Lounge starts things off with a large sized Flash streaming video that looks very crisp and clear given that it's Flash. Underneath that are three download options, a description, links to the photo sets, the video file stats, comments, and related scenes. All together, it's one of the nicest put together episode pages that I think I've ever seen on a pornsite, straight, gay, or shemale.

The best quality video is offered in a MP4 format, shown at 568x426 and 1.1 mbps. The WMV is shown at 480x360 and 1 mbps, while there is another MP4 version that is custom designed for the Ipod and shown at 240x180 and 600 kbps. All of the files are generally on the hefty side, as videos run well over 30 minutes each. However a very speedy 700 kb/s gets the videos to you at a fast rate. The highest
quality video is average quality, with nice camera work but somewhat muted lighting. It's pretty middle of the road as far as quality, not bad but not great.

There are links on the video page for photos and screencaps, but clicking either one will take you to the screencap gallery. There are a little over 100 photos per set on average, and the photos open up lightbox style to show at 700x456. They are average quality caps, and seem to be mostly thrown in so that you have something to look at while you're waiting for your download. There are no slideshow or zip features available.

It's pretty obvious that Tranny Lounge itself doesn't really offer anything special, but the bonus network that you get along with your membership is sure to set you back on your heels. The full network stats are 27,596 videos from 4,816 DVDs, 6,748,569 pictures, 143 bonus sites, and 9177 hours of porn. That is a hell of a lot of porn, and while I am judging Tranny Lounge on its own merits, a bonus network this extensive plays a big part in the attractiveness of a membership. As far as shemale special stats go out of the network, there are 9 bonus sites (a good portion of which are exclusive) and 611 15 – 30 minute video scenes. Even if the vast majority of these aren't exclusive to the network, that's a lot of shemales in one place.

Conclusion

Tranny Lounge on its own is a pretty average shemale porn experience with a small non exclusive collection. On its own you probably wouldn't want to give it a second glance, but if you're interested in getting access to the extensive bonus network you might want to take a look.
