First impression

Johan Volny is the official web site of, guess who – Johan! This studly gay pornstar looks like he has a good thing going on here, with plenty of fucking with Johan and many of the gay pornstars that he has met and worked with.

The member's area looks just like the tour. It's a fairly clean layout with bright colors and a modern feel. The different navigation sections for videos, photos, downloads, and blog runs along the top. Down the middle are the latest updates for each section.

Our opinion

Johan Volny is a dream for hunky pornstar lovers, as he is one hell of a cut stud. There are 78 photo sets and 29 exclusive videos. The My Videos section features 85 videos with Johan in them, so there's a bit of overlap between this and the exclusive videos area. There's also a downloadable video section that presents 5 downloadable videos that are rotated through. It looks like they're fairly close to the promised 4 updates per week. There is a combination of solo and hardcore action that covers many different areas of Johan's sexual taste.

The streaming only videos range in size from 5 minute masturbation sessions to 25 minute hardcore romps. You get a video cover and thumbnail, with an info box down below. Clicking on the thumbnail will take you to the video viewing page. The viewing page allows you to see all of the scenes from that particular DVD, or just check out the video on the Flash window. It's shown at 720x480 and 800 kbps. The video buffers very quickly and it is smooth, but the quality seems a bit lower bitrate wise than I expected.

In the download section, you get a choice of 5 videos. It looks like Johan Volny is only offering downloadable for a specific amount of time, and then they are rotated out of the site. I'm not exactly a big fan of this setup. The thumbnails link to the XVID (AVI) videos. They are shown at approximately the same quality as the Flash.

The photo pages have a similar layout to the video pages. Sets range in size from 50 pictures to over 100, so you get a good look at Johan and his boys. The photos open up in a pop up window, and you can click a checkbox to get the slideshow going. They are shown at 500x750 on average.

Johan has a blog that has him rambling about all of the things that you would expect to find in a blog.

Conclusion

Johan Volny has a decent solo gay pornstar site, and it has a good amount of content. Outside of the blog, I'm not really seeing a lot of personality coming through. The content was decent quality on the whole, and the update schedule is pretty extensive. I was not digging the limited range of downloads, however.
