Review summary: Boys Love 18 looks on as these fresh faced college twinks start their sexual explorations with each other. The amateurs don't seem to mind the camera too much, and they go at it with gusto. As hot as that sounds, there are plenty of issues with this site that make it one to pass up. The collection is somewhat large, but with so many twink sites out there they need more than that, and they don't really give it. Add that to no updates and a useless bonus network and you see where the problem is.

First impression

Ah to be 18 again and exploring my sexual boundaries. The boys at Boys Love 18 have just hit that great age, and they're adventurous enough to want to get on camera while they figure out what they want in the bedroom. This gay twink filled adventure looks like there are plenty of cute and horny boys just waiting to stick their cock in something.

When I logged into Boys Love 18, I get to see some more twinks in a basic site design. The navigation runs across the top and has everything divided into sections, while you can go down the middle to see these barely legal gay teen hotties. The action generally tends towards guy on guy, although you do get some jerk off material here and there, including insertions.

Our opinion

Within the first few moments of looking around the site I have a problem, sadly. Boys Love 18 has not updated in ages, since January 09. Although there is no lack of twink sites on the market, having another exclusive source of hot 18 year old guys is certainly never a bad thing, so hopefully the content numbers are large enough to make up for this lack. That is the high point in this, apparently – there are 97 episodes floating around. It's a good base collection that might just pull them through the lack of updates, for a bit at least.

The episode pages are divided between the video and photo sets, and the video pages are pretty basic. There's a thumb giving you a good idea of the type of action that you're about to witness, then the various viewing choices. The main choice are the three full length download links, all in WMV. They are shown at 640x464 and 1.22 mbps, 480x348 and 1.52 mbps, and 320x232 and 720 kbps. The video quality is above average but nothing really mind blowing, and given how saturated their part of the market is they really needed to set themselves apart with something special. The other viewing options are one minute clips in the medium quality.

The picture sets as well as their zip downloads are also linked to in the video page. These picture sets are screencaps only, and shown at 640x464. They are above average quality for caps, so you might just find yourself using these as an okay substitute for a photo set. Either that or it makes a great preview while you download. The sets are all over 75 photos per set, and as mentioned there's a zip download that you can grab to get them all. There are no slideshows, however.

For extras, the most prominent bonus are the exclusive bonus sites. There are 8 of these, as well as 6 non exclusive bonuses. That's pretty far away from the 20 promised, so I wonder if they removed some at some point. It doesn't much matter though – none of the bonuses are of gay sites, so chances are you're not going to find much of interest here. There is also a forum mentioned on the video pages, but when you try to click through to it it just gives you a forbidden error.

Conclusion

Boys Love 18 really doesn't have that much to offer. The collection size is nice, but it doesn't appear to update, and it's hardly a struggle to find twink porn in this day and age. If they had some other sort of hook to get people in it might be worth a look, but as it is right now this one is a pass.
