First impression

Hot Boys at Play is a rather descriptive name that shows off these twinks getting their play in - at least if you define play as plenty of wanking, fucking, and cumshots galore. These twinks look to be in the amateur set, so you're seeing plenty of boys that you haven't before, and they have some nice sized cocks for you to enjoy.


The member's area is pretty dark and simple. The navigation runs across the top, and you're greeted with an introduction getting you up to speed with what they offer. The upcoming updates are what you see first of all, and that is followed by the most popular. Further down you'll see the latest updates, and at the very bottom of the page you have a keyword search. This is an unconventional arrangement that doesn't seem like it works out very well.

Our opinion

While I do love myself a twink, I had to admit that there is a glut of twink sites out there, and a relative newcomer to the market like Hot Boys At Play has a long road ahead of them if they want to be a stand out. Let's see if they have what it takes to really take you by the balls and get you coming all over the room.

There are updates every 3-4 days, so we're at least looking at a speedy update schedule. You get 45 videos and 51 photo sets. They didn't start up that long ago, so that's about what I was expecting as far as collection size goes. The video pages could really use a description – there's a thumb showing off the models, then to the left a WMV download, and to the right the MPG version. The expected HD video is shown with the WMV, with a 960x540 and 3 mbps masterpiece just waiting for you. It might not be the highest resolution HD video that I've seen, but that bitrate really helps to bring out the quality. The M4V version is the same quality. As much as I love the HD videos, they do take forever and a day to download – clip options or a smaller resolution would have been handy to have. The videos average 20 minutes.

As much as I love to gush about HD videos, I'm not going to neglect my duty to the photo sets. The photo sets have over 120 picture per set, in basic gallery setups that have a zip download and slideshow feature. The pictures themselves are average quality, shown at 732x1100. They aren't bad, but they aren't amazing photo shoots either.

Access to bonus sites are set up on a loyalty system, so you'll see those open up as you hit a month of your membership. All of their sites that they offer are twink centric, and many of them also have HD videos for you to enjoy. You can get a preview of what they offer in the bonus sets area – this will get you acquainted with all of their offerings.

Conclusion

Hot Boys at Play is not a mind blowing twink site, but it does have a lot to offer with its HD videos and rather rapid updates. The twinks are tasty pieces of ass that I haven't seen elsewhere, and the only thing I could have really used was clip downloads or a faster download, for those who would want to get to the content faster. Full scene downloads can be a pain when they're 700 megs.
