First impression

I'm not sure what's so shocking at first, but it looks like they're going to be bringing in leather and handcuffs for a good old time with each other. Our opinion

You don't get to see any of the latest updates on the main page at Shocking Boys, so you don't get a real overall impression on the type of amateur twink content that they're focusing on right away. There are different sections for each type of content, with updates every week and a collection count at 148 photo sets and 170 video sets. The content listing pages are pretty simple like the main member's area is, with small thumbs giving you a preview of what to expect.

The basic theme of the content involves plenty of amateurs and twinks getting into group sex and BDSM scenarios. There's a gritty, kinky feel to many of the scenarios presented that add in to the theme. Sex toys, large vegetables, whips, straps, and all sorts of leather show up around here quite often.

The video pages are awfully plain. Once you click through to one of the individual listings all you get is a video divided up into several smaller clips. You don't get model names, descriptions, or even thumbs that are large enough to clearly give you an idea of what's going on. It really seems like this site could use a lot more polish. The video format is WMV only, downloadable in those small clips. The videos are above average quality at 768x432 and 1.5 mbps. Earlier videos have slightly lower quality.

The photo galleries are incredibly basic as well. There's no slideshows or zip downloads, you basically have 100 – 200 photos in a normal gallery and that's it. The photo quality isn't too bad with pictures shown at 1036x675 but they could have been better. The photo sets don't seem to conform with the videos so at least you are getting some new scenarios to check out and enjoy.

Extras wise, you're getting a number of comics, a boatload of gay erotica and bonus access to Twink Job and Twinks Dicks. Although there are a lot of twinks at Shocking Boys, the main focus is on all of the hot BDSM action that's going around more than the type of guy doing it, so your mileage may vary when it comes to the bonus sites. There's also a blog and that mostly seems to be site update news.

Conclusion

The BDSM focus on Shocking Boys leads to some very spicy action but the site seems very thrown together. There is no personality to the site, the design is very basic and the large collection could desperately use some way of browsing around.
