Here fans get access to thirty years of exclusive, high quality BDSM and Fetish DVDs, much of it now in HD formats as streams and downloads. Many movies also include high-res image galleries. Updates are made multiple times every week and just about every variety of kink is captured in its massive collection totaling over 14,000 minutes of video footage.

First impression

Bizarre Video has been in the business for over thirty years but has only been online for a few of them. It didn't take them long to put together quite an impressive site, at least from the look of things. The dark, fire-laced design fits in nicely with the multitude of thumbnails, each one showcasing some unique fetish teasing, torturing or pleasuring in videos that a membership will permit us to watch. I've watched a few of Bizarre Videos' DVDs in the past and so am justifiably excited to see what they've put together online.

Our opinion

I'm not really surprised that Bizarre Video turned out to be as massive as it is. It looks like they've put up just about every DVD they've made, including the old school vids from the 70s and 80s. Those videos get their own category, "Retro Videos". The other categories are Standard Videos and HD Videos. On closer look it's clear that not all of their library has been made available in HD yet, and even some of the new updates aren't in HD from time to time.

Of course, just because a porn site says that a video is HD does not make it so. I had a look at a few of the HD movies and can say confidently that these are gorgeous, HD quality movies. Even the Flash Stream, which is played by default, looks fantastic. You can also download them in Windows Media or QuickTime HD formats that looks sensational. HD movies have a 1280x720 resolution, while standard movies will only offer a 720x548 resolution. The standard movies also look good, just not as spectacular. On the flip side they are much smaller files and faster to download or watch in the browser-based Flash video player.

On the join page BizarreVideo also promised photo galleries with HD images. It took me a while to find these, as the majority of episodes tend not to have them. Those that do offer zip files that you can download in one file. The images inside reflect the same action as the movies and are high-res images, though most are just 1600x1063 pixels rather than the 3000x2000 pixels hinted at on the tour.

As far as action goes, if it fits into the fetish or BDSM niches, you'll find it here. I was very impressed with their large and varied collection of medical fetish action. You'll see busty blonde nurses lathering up a naked female patient, washing her down then giving her an enema. Other medical fetish scenes tie in elements of bondage. It's pretty easy to nose through the library since they've categorized everything extensively. There are 12 main categories: Spanking, Girl/Girl BDSM, Boy/Girl BDSM, Transsexual, Femdom, Pissing, Latex and Leather, Medical Play, Legs and Feet, Busty/Big Tits, Taboo Teens and MILF Ladies. Click on any and the displayed thumbnails will change to match your filter.

When you do find a scene you want to watch it is shown off in a very nice page. You click the thumbnail there and it will load the rather large and sharp-looking Flash video player. Below that will be the download options (Windows Media and QuickTime formats for the most part) as well as an option to buy the entire DVD that scene comes from if you want to. You'll also notice that towards the bottom of the page is another description of the DVD and the action, and a tag cloud with loads of "tags". These are keywords that match the content and you can click any of them to get a list of videos that have been tagged by the same words.

There's one other browsing feature that is just awesome. Once you click on a category you'll get taken to second page. At the top of that page are two boxes which allow you to add more tags to your search WITHIN any category. For example, I clicked on the link for the Boy/Girl BDSM Category. On the next page I added the tags "ass", "anal" and "bathroom" then clicked search again. The results below those boxes changed instantly to reflect my filters. It makes it very easy to get specific and find exactly what you want. You can also browse by model name, read bios and look up all the DVDs they've appeared in. Obviously these filters become more relevant when the content numbers add up.

Conclusion

Bizarre Video is one of the best fetish and BDSM sites on the internet. The archive of unique, exclusive content is very large and incredibly easy to browse and enjoy. The media quality is always good and exceptional in most cases. With loads of pornstars, a variety of action and kink to watch and constant updates it makes a great deal for any fan.
