First impression

On first sight, Black Male Me looks like a solid, interracial hardcore site featuring men of colour, ebony, white and Latino. It is a pretty solid site, but it has a couple of twists. Basic membership will get you into 95 movies from Men.com, Bromo, Sean Cody and Reality Dudes, making them, I guess, non-exclusive, except the same company is behind most of this content, so it's exclusive to them. If you want to see photos and download videos though, you will have to upgrade your membership once you are signed up. The upgraded membership costs $29.99 per month, so if you're thinking of doing that, it's probably best to take it right from the start.

Intro
Okay, so, signed up with a basic membership I was able to access 95 videos from various studios which are, as far as I can tell, all part of the same organisation, so we're looking at videos exclusive to the company rather than to Black Male Me as its own studio. Whatever; the sex is what counts, and there's a decent amount of it here. The models are a varied bunch but mainly younger 20s and 30s, fit and studly. There is a mix of black and Latino, with white guys too, and a mix of threesomes and duos, mainly with condom sex. The guys are hung, very hung in some cases, and the theme is interracial and black on black.

The homepage will give you featured scenes, but to make your own choices, head to the Black Male Me scenes tab in the menu and you'll find them divided up according to which site they have come from. Sean Cody had contributed the most with 81 scenes (other sites had only one or two), so I turned to the latest of those to check things out. The movies are fine for quality in that they are professionally made and they run for around 20 minutes each. There were scenarios and build-ups to some, others were more wham-bam and got on with it, most were duos with some threesomes and other combos, and all of them had a black, ethnic, Latino, man of colour involved, some being truly interracial, others being black on black, just as advertised.

Movies also come with trailers and a stream. Unless you upgrade, you only get to stream, and there you have a screen at 1,200 x 676 in Mp4 which will go full screen, and which only has the one speed and quality. It's pretty basic. There are sets of images with these vids as well, but again, you only see thumbnails unless you upgrade. As for updates, well, it's hard to say as there are no dates published.

Navigation
As long as you accept that you have only limited access, navigation is fine. When you start to get the upgrade pop-up boxes though, it gets frustrating. You go to check a photo and get a box, you check the links to Network and Channels, and get the same thing. You've only really got 95 videos here, the rest of what you see (including some scenes direct from Men.com in their own area) are temptations to get you to take a full membership.

So, your main links are the Black Male Me Scenes tab and Home, but there's also the model index with loads of guys, strangely though, mainly white. Here you get basic stats and links to each guy's scenes but, yup, you guessed it, you will need to upgrade to see them.

Extras
You might have gathered, any extras will have to be paid for with an upgrade. You can add to favourites and like/dislike scenes and save them for later, but that's as interactive as you can get without a full membership.

Conclusion

I would say that this sign-up offer to Black Male Me is set at a decent price, but all you're really doing is checking out what you could have if you then pay more for full membership and get the downloads and extras. It's a safe way to see what's on offer, and if you take a trial, not an expensive one (watch out for recurring fees). Meanwhile, the porn here, though limited, stays on theme and is well made, Sean Cody and Men.com, for example, are top producers. The streams are midrange quality and easy to handle, but we're not sure about updates.
