First impression

Intro page was very thorough and well laid out. A hot preview video and some tempting pics of a very tasty amateur called Piper was found just below a slick banner, along with another preview of a couple of sexy girls playing with toys and finally below that a teaser of Taylor getting it on with her bad self! You can click on a genre tag but that doesn't actually take you anywhere new, although the thumbs of the girls look hot! There was another preview of the amateur of the month as well as more pics of models waiting for you on the inside, based on the quality of the images and girls this should be one damn fine site.

Our opinion

Right, we're in. It's a simple one page layout containing a whole bunch of thumbs - 5 for bonus content, 40 for most recent picture updates and 20 for most recent movie updates. There are a couple of buttons for most recent updates (pics and vids) and they just take you down the page to where each one starts. There are a bunch of search features on the left ranging from amateur babes (isn't this site all about amateur babe anyway? Who's paying to see ugly chicks in here??) to ethnic, from hardcore movies to top rated sets. Overall the layout seems to be clean and easy.

So each thumb, which gives you a good shot of the model, on the home page has the name of the girl, when it was uploaded, an image count and a rating out of ten (yes you can rate in the gallery). Maybe a listing of which category it belonged to would help get you an idea of what the shoot would contain. The pictures on Karups HA are high res - 1500x1001px, with the standard res being only slightly smaller at 1024x684px. Karups did the high-res photo upgrade around the start of 2007, until then the standard res was the only option. A small amount of the older content sometimes does have that 'point and shoot' camera feel about it - some are a bit grainy. But I have to say there are thousands upon thousands of great photos at Karups, where the HELL do they get all these cute amateurs from? Some of them look so at home in all their naked glory in front of the camera, strutting their stuff, I could swear they've done it before. If not, kudos to the photography team for making them appear so natural and at ease.

I had better mention the categories because I found this the best way to view content. By clicking on a certain genre you still see the most recent updates at the top of the page so you won't miss out on the ones featured on the home page. Categories are: babes, athletic, ethnic, outdoors, with toys, hardcore, movies - softcore, hardcore, model index, top rated models, advanced search and bonus content. The bonus content is from affiliated/sister sites like Karups PC (which specializes in glamour and babes) and is typically standard resolution.

Each of the genres on the site has some really great stuff, did I mention these girls are ceeute? They're your perfect mix of girl nextdoor, hot nympho and pornstar without the big fake boobs, crazy hair and all the make up. What I'm saying is these girls really do look like amateurs who love getting dirty.

The older dated videos came through at 640x480px which wasn't that great, but the content still holds it own. Newer videos at Karups are a much better 960x540px and the actual quality is miles ahead. Also with the older videos you can only select from the scene broken into 4 clips - left click and watch in a new window, right click and save target as. With the new vids you can download in complete scenes, watch in a fast flash player as well as choose from the 4 clips as per above. It was very speedy at both downloading and playing/buffering in the flash player.

It's interesting to see how the footage and photos have changed over the years since the very beginning of 2002 until present day at Karups Hometown Amateurs. It wasn't until a had looked around for a while did I realise just how much content there is here, and just how many girls there are too. One thing Karups HA hasn't faltered on is quality, they seem to have been very consistent throughout the years and let's face it, just lasting 7 years in the biz is pretty damn impressive!

Conclusion

With the shear amount of content at Karups Hometown Amateurs, they do well to present in an easy to manage, fun to browse fashion. Apart from the thumbs on the front page not really giving you an idea of what the content's about, there really isn't a lot I can find that's wrong with the site. The girls are super foxy, and for first timers, really know how to turn it on, the streaming is fast and the photos are great. This is a fantastic amateur site.
