First impression

What would porn made by Euro hipsters look like? All kidding aside, Verso Cinema is a very different sort of porn site where a lot of energy is put into the cinematic and artistic touches and where the sex is very real and full of passion. The site is made up of short art films with varying degrees of nudity and sex and filmed by a group of likeminded, creative artists from around Europe.

Our opinion

Verso Cinema is one of the few porn sites I've come across with a manifesto: using the "film language" and narrative to inject intense eroticism into cinematic films. Here they take the craft of film seriously and use the unique qualities of film to supercharge their very real and very passionate sexual explorations.

The library isn't very big. There were 24 short films at the time of my visit. New films were added once a week before the new year, but in the last three weeks there haven't been any new updates to check on.

Each film is rather unique from all the rest. There is no formula here to follow and in fact they work with several filmmakers and artists. They and their friends also appear to be the stars. If you see a couple touching and licking each other, chances are they are an actual couple outside of the film, too.

Movies explore all types of erotic situations. In one, porn star Apolonia Lapiedra sits naked (presumably, the camera focuses on her head and chest above her nipples) licking a lollypop while flirting with the camera then having her nails painted a bright pink. Her attitude, the licking and sucking, and the fingernail painting was all surprisingly erotic and interesting for a film just 4-minutes long!

In another, there is more narrative. A girl finds little notes left by her partner in her book, which leads her to the kitchen for a banana, then to the bathtub, then to the bedroom, where finally he joins her, masturbates her with the banana, before licking her pussy and making explicit love to her. That film runs over 20-minutes long.

You'll see masturbation, girls having sex with other girls, and other erotic and unique sexual scenarios and situations in the rest of the library.

You can stream or download all of the movies in Full HD (1920x1080; 6.5 mbits) and the playback quality is excellent. These are art films before they're pornography and it shows. The detail, the framing, the narratives, it's all very satisfying on an aesthetic level.

To start there are no bonuses or extras but the site is part of the Stiffia Network. Conclusion

Verso Cinema is a very unique collection of porn - or rather, explicit and erotic artistic films. The site isn't that big but the quality and vision her is totally unique. With time, you can add a lot of bonus sites to your subscription via the Stiffia Network affiliation, too.
