First impression

Sign up for Velvet Mag, and you're signing up for all your porn needs in one place. DVDs, videos, photos, magazines, a model index and bonus feeds, plus access to the Swank Pass network of 18 sites is all included, and currently, it's all yours for only $14.95 per month on a monthly membership. That raises the questions, is this a cheap site? Financially, yes. In terms of content, no. You have a wealth of content here, and although updates may not be wonderful, you have masses to see and take, and all of it on the hardcore theme.

Intro
Velvet Mag comes with editions of the actual magazine in virtual form, and some of the girls you see on its pages also appear in its videos and galleries. There are loads of other content areas built around this, but as usual, we're going to look at the videos first, then the photos then the magazines and bonuses. You're talking hot and horny vixens who love to get down to some horny sex with hung guys. Orgasms are guaranteed with these hardcore and lesbian scenes. They encompass teens and Milfs, toy-play and group sex, girls together and threesomes, and there's a bit of something of everyone.

The tour reminded me of all those images you see at the back of magazines, selling you movies and websites; it's packed with variety. The members' area takes on a standard looking theme and a template design, which makes it easy to use, but which also takes away the individuality of the tour. Not to worry, you're here for the porn, and that's easy to find. It's also a very interactive site with all the extra tools you need to browse with no hassles.

Content numbers are good. 1,788 movies, over 1,280 galleries, 6,266 models, many different magazines and all their editions, 364 DVDs plus your 18 bonus sites. That's a hell of a lot of content for only $14.95 per month, but there are one or two minor catches. I'm not sure if the content is 100% exclusive, and some of it may be rotated, so not too much more gets added, and the quality is sometimes old-fashioned and not up to the promised HD. But, on the other hand, you can't complain about the mix of pornstars and amateur models, the mix of genres and the sheer number of videos and pics.

Movies. Looking at the most recently dated movie, I found a standard 15-minute porn movie (a threesome) which was available to stream but with only one option at 720 x 480. They ran nice and smoothly and looked fine, though not top quality. There were three downloads offered, in WMV at 720 x 480, in Mp4 for iPod and Android, and in a desktop Mp4 file at 720 x 480. The quality was what I'd call DVD standard in that they are fine to view, but we're not talking 1080p HD or anything. Also, 576 is about the same number of videos as the site presented back in 2017 which is what makes me think the content is rotated and older movies brought forward with new update dates added. Still, it's a lot of decent porn videos.

Galleries numbered over 1,280, and some are from videos, while others are standalone. There are solo models here and action galleries, and each one holds an average of 25 to 150 + photos with sizes up to 1,280 x 960. Again, decent enough quality, shown with upload dates and simple online navigation. You can now also opt to view images in up to four different sizes, and there are zip files for the full sets.

DVDs. There were 364 of these shown in their own area and arranged with their own scenes, some of which you may also find in the Videos area. They work in the same way with the same streams and downloads.

Navigation
A model index helps you find who you want to see and there are 6,266 + girls currently being shown there. You find this area through the main menu which holds all your links, and which is simple to use. The content comes with other handy navigation tools. You can jump through the index pages, search for models alphabetically, there's a vast category list in the menu for filtering, you're able to rearrange content, and search for DVD and movie series from Swank Pass, all from every main page.

When you fancy a bonus site, there's a drop-down for that as well, and sites open in the same window and same format. Members are able to get interactive with rates and comments, add to favourites, and there is help available if you have any trouble.

Extras
You have so many extras here it's hard to know where Velvet Mag ends and the bonuses start. There are some 3rd party feeds, but you will need to remain as a member for at least a month to start accessing them; then the longer you stay, the more you get. There are 18 bonuses sites from Swank Pass, including Girl Next Door, Cheri Magazine and Just 18. Head to the Swank Pass main area, and you find over 5,834 videos and 12,800 + galleries. That's a decent amount of bonuses in anyone's book.

And then, of course, there are the magazines. Over in this section, I found contributions from many different publications. They are displayed with their covers on one long page, with navigation tools, and when you click one to open one (you will need Flash Player), you find the whole magazine with pics and articles, and everything you'd expect to find in a glossy top-shelf mag, except online. Neat.

Conclusion

Velvet Mag sure offers you a huge stock of content. It may be reloading old videos and advertising them as new, and quality may be restricted to around the 720p mark, but there's a big stock of varied porn here that includes complete magazines and photos, bonus sites and DVDs, and all for only $14.95. It's an unbelievable offer.

Competitors

Velvet Mag is an online magazine which holds not only copies of its own mag and others, but which also holds videos and galleries like most other porn sites. That makes it a hardcore mega site. One of the difficulties here is that many of the other good magazine sites I know of are already included in this membership.

But for mega site that are doing well right now, and as we're all on the hunt for bargains. Then how about 21 Sextury. Okay, so no magazines as such, but a large collection of European hardcore in one vast site with a discount available (if you're quick) at $9.95 per month. With over 9,900 exclusive scenes, 21 sites, and a great amount of variety, it's sleeker in design than Velvet mag, and also offers excellent variety and value.
