First impression

MET Models is managed and produced by the same team behind the long running and very famous MET Art website. This one focuses more on the girls, but otherwise looks to offer a similar sort of nude photography and erotica in both pictures and movies. The girls are beautiful European models, sexy, all natural, hot enough to be on catwalks at Fashion Week, but lucky for us caught in the lens of savvy photographers who use their fully nude forms to create something special, exciting and erotic.

The content looks good, the promises of varied media options and regular updates are enticing. We signed up to have a look through the members area and see how things held up. Read on for an in depth report.

Our opinion

If you've ever been inside of the MET Art members area you'll notice that MET Models shares a lot of its design aesthetic and functionality. Things are kept minimal, the space clean and organized. The main bar of navigation as well as all of the thumbnails and previews float on a blank pure white background. It does have a very 'high class' feel to it compared to other porn sites, and it fits the content well.

Similarly to MET Art, MET Models favors a calendar-based browsing. There is a list of years, then a bar underneath the selected year with the months of the year. Click on a month to get a table of thumbnails and very brief descriptions to pick from. The calendar goes back to 2005 for the pictures.

The movies section also goes back to 2005 and is organized in the same manner; however, it is clear that the movies section has been abandoned for some time. The last update was on June 16, 2008 -- that is three years ago at the time of our visit. There are only 34 total movies all together.

On the tour they listed many different formats that movies can be saved and viewed in, and they do have quite a few formats to pick from. They have a little alert above the video previews about which formats are best, which are fastest, etc. You can save videos in DIVX (AVI) files with 720x576 screens (1 Mbits). A WMV option is available that matches it in size but is a slightly higher quality playback, with a 720x576 screen (2.5 Mbits). You'll find MPEG and MOV downloads at the same resolutions and similar playback qualities. For older movies the media options may be different and will be lower quality in general.

For a few of the last updates, there are 720p HD WMV downloads. These have 1280x720 screens (5 Mbits). They look great but are really the exception to the rule in terms of resolution and quality. The rest of the library is not available at this size and settings. All of the videos run about 5-10 minutes long each.

This movie section really becomes more of a treat than a main course, that role being filled by the photo galleries instead. There are a great number of pictures here, and as promised they update with a new gallery every day. You'll find some true beauties here, and in all shapes and sizes and styles. Some of my favorites from recent updates included Candice B, with her plump natural breasts, so pale and full and round and peaked with soft pink nipples; Mila J has small breasts but a firm, healthy and nubile body, her skin is oak-colored from the sun and her dark hair fits her perfectly; and Lada D was a pretty blonde, very petite, with tan lines and small round breasts and tiny hard nipples.

The sets are very high quality, the photographs as much art as porn. Erotica, in other words, to a very high order. The girls will pose entirely nude, often spreading their legs. It somehow doesn't come off as vulgar. The camera makes good use of the light, the curves and shapes of the girls' bodies, and the textures and shapes of settings -- which could be as exotic as a beach, or as cozy as a king-sized bed with soft white sheets.

You can view the pictures at the size and quality of your choice. The largest 'High res' images have a massive resolution: 5412x7216 pixels. At full size, you can really see the most minute details and textures of their skin. I was looking at the breasts of Candice, mentioned before, in a shot where she has the top of her frilly summer dress pulled down, and those plump breasts cupped and pushed together in her hands. I could see the tiny blond hairs near her nipples, and the texture of her areola. Each picture can be studied for quite a long while, and if you have a high quality, large resolution monitor, it's all the better. For those with a means of printing high quality digital images, these would look fantastic at quite large sizes, too.

You can save the galleries in a single compressed ZIP file at the resolution/quality setting of your choice. It is best to download the ZIP file then browse the pictures from your hard drive, the web site isn't instant loading those huge JPG files!

As great as everything was to this point (besides the movies not updating), there were a few issues with the site. None more irking then the lack of Model information. You can browse an index, but it's just model names, no pictures. There are no profiles or further data on the girls. It left me wondering why they called the site MET Models, and why they couldn't just include this content in their flagship site, MET Art. Is it high quality erotica with beautiful girls? Yes. Does it offer some sort of especially model-orientated experience in the end? Not really.

Conclusion

MET Models has a number of gorgeous European models to share with you, and totally nude in what are quite elegant and erotica photo galleries. The movie library isn't large and isn't added to any longer, but galleries are still added each week. The site doesn't offer any real 'model extras' as the name might suggest, but it remains an excellent collection of nude photography starring slim, beautiful European glamour models.

Competitors

There are good number of high quality erotica and nude photography sites to pick from. MET Models is a nice one, but some that we've reviewed recently are larger, offer more videos, or stand out in other ways. Read their in depth reviews for more information!
