First impression

Mya's place looks great! Excellent design and navigation. Tons of content too, by the look of things! There is no preview per se, you simply get to browse the whole site (without access to the goodies, of course). This is the most effective sort of preview - it tells it like it is, pure and simple.

What Do We Think of Mya Diamond

Upon logging in, you are taken to the Daily Updated Galleries page, which features a calendar that has thumbs of the update for each day of the the month. There is a simple menu bar at the top of the page that lets you quickly access the rest of the site. The content is sorted in two ways: as daily updates on the calendar, and as a model index (listed as Mya's Girlfriends on the menu bar) that collects all of the content for each model featured on the site. The menu also features a Forum, a Favorites section that lists galleries you've viewed recently, and an About Me section where Mya fills us in on some personal details. I love the design of this site! Very minimal and easy to use. Intuitive browsing at it's best! And it looks nice, too.

On the Daily Updated Galleries page, each square in the calendar has icons that indicate the type of content for the update... pics, videos, or both. Clicking on a square takes you to an intermediate page where you can add the gallery to your list of favorites if you want, and decide how to view or download the content.

Pictures can be viewed online or downloaded as zip files of the entire gallery. When viewing pics online, they are presented as pages of thumbs that can be viewed as high or low resolution images. Clicking on an image brings up a window where you can flip through each full-size picture in the gallery, or use the auto-play feature for a slide show. The pics are HUGE, with the “low res” versions sizing up at 980x653, and the hi res offerings clocking in at 1365x2048! These pics are not only big, but amazingly crisp and clear. I love people who appreciate the value of a good camera!

You have several options for the videos. You can view them as 768kbps or 384kbps streams, in either the WMV or Quicktime format, or you can download a 640x480, 1.5mbps(!) video in your choice of the above mentioned formats. As you might imagine, the download-able vids are enormous. File sizes vary, but everything is around the 200MB range, give or take 30MB. These are some serious vids. It would be nice to see these files broken down into smaller segments as an option, especially because there is only one download option. They look great for the most part, but a few of them got a little grainy when full-screened, which is kinda surprising given their size and resolution. The sound quality is great - no low bit-rate crap, and no cheesy music! Just good location audio so you can hear what's going on in the scene.

The content itself focuses primarily on solo action, with a few girl/girl scenes here and there, and a couple of hardcore co-ed moments. Although Mya's place will obviously appeal greatly to her current fans, I'm sure she will easily win over the hearts (and cocks) of those who enjoy classy, well-groomed professional porn star-type women. Many of her friends are featured on the site as well - at the time of this review there were no less than 43 other models with extensive photo galleries and videos up for grabs. There are lots of photos from conventions and expos and whatnot, as well as some behind the scenes stuff that gives you a peek at what happens on set at some of the photo and video shoots. The site preview (as mentioned before) gives you access to the member's area, so you can easily see exactly what you are going to get before you sign up. A nice personal touch is the inclusion of a forum where members can chat it up or request specific scenes.

Mya Diamond is an very well-designed site. Flawless navigation and a functional, attractive, no-frills aesthetic makes it a pleasure to browse. The content is of a higher calibre than you will find on most sites, and is all well organized and easy to navigate. My only complaint is the awkward file sizes of the download-able videos. These would be much more user friendly if there were an option to also download them in segments. Good work, Mya!
