First impression

Straight Goes Gay allows these straight boys to experience a world that they never thought they would delve into before - the world of gay sex. This doesn't look like your normal gay for pay site - they're styling it more like straight guys that have come to the gay side out of curiosity instead of money.

The member's area has a somewhat amateur appearance and it seems a bit dated. There are no dates on any of the content, so it's impossible to tell when it has updated last. It's a very basic layout and it does not appear to have extended browsing options.

Our opinion

I definitely didn't get much of a good first impression, so let's see if it gets better once I make my way deeper into the site. Anything you click on when the episodes on the main page takes you over to the full episode listing. There are 16 episodes in total with a video and photo set for each. That's not exactly what I'm hoping to see, and checking out the videos makes it worse.

The only format available are WMVs in two minute clips, and the videos tend to be around 20-30 minutes long. The quality is probably the most disappointing thing of all - they are only shown at 320x240 and 300 kbps. This might have been a good quality when Internet porn started showing up, but in an age of HD video galore this is just sad.

The photo sets are a little bit better, with 100 photos per set. The galleries are very basic, and the photos are shown at 800x1000. On a good note, they are from actual photo sets instead of screencaps. You don't get any slideshows or zip downloads with your gallery.

The extras are strewn throughout the main navigation (you know, the part that you would assume would be for the main site). There are photo sets in various niches, and you're probably getting a good hundred or so galleries here. The bonus videos are all contained in third party feeds, and you get 68 feeds to go along with the main collection.

Conclusion

The only thing that's even remotely good about this site are the third party feeds. The collection is so small, the quality is very bad, and it doesn't look like they're getting updated any time soon. All in all you'll be better off passing this up for another straight to gay site.
