First impression

Tokyo Babes is an adult website offering “REAL” Japanese porn movies in full screen quality as well as high-resolution pictures. The concept of this site has something to do with “girls you can meet in Tokyo;” think of Tokyo Babes as “a sort of personal collection of girls met (and hooked up [with]) in the various districts of Tokyo, where each girl features a style (mainly focusing on clothes) that reflect[s] the area where she was met.” Tokyo Babes offers a wide variety of niches, including hardcore, bukkake, cumplay, cosplay, masturbation, orgasms, hairy pussies and much more. Ah, gotta love them hairy pussies… orgasms ain’t so bad neither! All of this absolutely delightful… but is it really?! Let’s find out!

Tokyo Babes claims to have “the largest library of Japanese amateur porn on the web;” the webmasters allege that this library contains “over one hundred babes in over one hundred hours of original videos.” Actually, there are seventy-six babes on the site at the present time. And I doubt there’s one hundred hours of video footage on Tokyo Babes, as the vast majority of the clips on the site aren’t anywhere near an hour in length. Though the makers of this site may be deceitful (maybe it’s run by a conglomerate started by my ex-girlfriends!), they do add two new “Japanese sexy babes” every week, “complete with pics galleries [sic] and over one hour of movies [sic], plus special goodies and info added every day.” Again, the “hour of movies” is exaggerated. And the goodies? Just a zipped file of the “pics galleries [sic].” Oh, goody!

The members area features a number of ways to browse the models. First, one may look at ‘em in the order that they were added to the site (newest come first). Second, members can choose from a list of “popular babes” found at the left side of the page. Third, and most intriguingly, you can navigate the site by area of Tokyo, i.e., you can look through a smattering of neighborhoods and see what kinda girls were picked up in each one. This is certainly an interesting way to categorize the girls, as the women of Tokyo are known to be quite fashionable and the neighborhoods in which they spend most of their time tends to influence their style (see the bizarrely dressed Harajuku girls popularized by Gwen Stefani for proof of this allegation).

All the babes from Tokyo on Tokyo Babes are young; most are in their early twenties, in fact. The girls leave most of their clothes on while they are being reamed, which helps support the illusion that these are women who have been picked up off the street for a quick fuck. Though these girls were probably hired from an agency of some sort, the site’s premise is further supported by a brief description of each scene, which is usually peppered with statements like the following: “She gave me a fantastic, slobbery blowjob before she got her luscious pussy banged.” Tokyo Babes also uses its best broken English to offer “stunning quality’s [sic] porn videos and pics, thanks to the latest Japanese video technology and high rate video encoding, for maximum pleasure.” Let me translate: Tokyo Babes has really good content that you can jerk off to; this content that you can jerk off to includes photos and videos.

The movies on Tokyo Babes are all in the WMV format (2400k, 852x480) and are divided into seven or eight clips that are approximately five minutes in length for ease in download (if you bother to do the math, you can clearly determine that the videos are nowhere near an hour in length as promised, they’re actually closer to forty minutes in length). The makers of this site declare, “We offer our movies in WMV high suitable for broadband users. You can download as much as you can, but only two movies at the same time. This is in order to provide a fair service to all our members.” Okay. I declare, “Videos look good.”

According to the site’s tour, there are over two thousand original pictures of “real Asian sex” on Tokyo Babes. Um, that number is greatly exaggerated, as most photosets contain about twenty-five pics in ‘em and, as I said earlier, there are only seventy-six episodes at the present time. The tour also alleges that these pics were taken at different locations and at different times from the porn movies… I cry bullshit! It looks to me like most if not all of the pics were taken at the same time that the movies were filmed. Regardless, the pics look good but are nowhere near high-resolution as promised in the site’s tour.

Some sad news: Pics and movies on Tokyo Babes are censored. No, really, they’re censored — the genitals are slightly blurred in the pictures while the movies sport pixilated bathing suit areas. Fucking hell. Why are you allowed to see jism all over a gal’s face but you can’t see a dick in her mouth?! It makes no sense. More sad news: Tokyo Babes is not accessible from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Sorry, guys. I find it strange that you can probably buy a sex slave in Taiwan but you can’t view this heavily censored site there…odd. Really, why can’t those good people view a site that’s censored?! I’m baffled. To be fair, I’m easily baffled — the microwave confuses the shit out of me! ALL THOSE BUTTONS!!!

Conclusion

Ahem. Tokyo Babes is a mixed bag at best. On the one hand, its models are hot and fashionably attired, the action is hot and the movies and pictures are shot well. On the other hand, the content is heavily censored… not cool. Granted, most authentic Japanese porn is censored, so I guess there’s no way to avoid that sorta thing.

Also, the webmasters are not honest in their site’s tour. But you can see for yourself if Tokyo Babes is for you, as the site offers a free trailer for each babe’s movie and gives unlimited access with trial memberships, the only limit being time. So check it out… or don’t. I ain’t gonna tell you how to live your life!
