First impression

Meow Misti Dawn is quite clearly all about its red headed alt girl star, Misti Dawn. Covered with tattoos, including a huge, bad-ass heart design that fills her chest beneath the throat and above her cleavage, she's definitely got a flair for being a bad girl. A quick glance over the limited tour promises a lot of things. In terms of action a good mix of solo, girl-girl and boy-girl hardcore; in terms of content regular blogs, twitter feeds and candid pics from her cell phone; in terms of interaction a lot of it, via her blog, her forums and her free webcams.

If what we're promised outside is the same as what we get inside after signing up, this should be a perfect solo girl site that any Misti Dawn fan will love. Let's sign up and see what's what.

Our opinion

Meow Misti Dawn benefits from having a unique star. Misti is a red head, she's an alt girl covered in colorful tattoos and she's just frickin' cool! This girl does strip shows in sexy spiderwoman costumes, masturbates in Green Lantern T-shirts and otherwise shows off her geek qualities while at the same time showing off her pornstar qualities in a mix of smut. There's something to be said for these sorts of models, the ones who aren't just hot but extremely cool, and Misti embodies the best of what they can offer.

Rolling onward through the site, however, there are some issues that pop up rather quickly. When it comes to content the site is very limited. It's still somewhat new, so I was willing to cut it slack, but even so the site seems to be moving very slowly when it comes to uploading new galleries and videos. That being said, she does cover the variety promised on her tour.

Her videos feature solo masturbation in knee high socks, another with her and a kinky alt girlfriend hooking up, and a few hardcore scenes with her sucking big black cock and getting nailed hard and cummed on. These movies all have pretty poor lighting and are quite dark, but you can still enjoy them. The scenes aren't dated, but according to the front page the last update was a week before my visit, so it would appear updates are indeed being made.

Movies can be downloaded in a couple of formats. You can choose a trailer version of the scene or the full length scene. The options include a MP4 (MPEG) that has a 640x360 resolution and a 2.0 mbits/s bit rate and a Windows Media download that offers the same resolution but a higher 4 mbits/s bit rate. Both of these look great. The other options are a standard WMV at 320x180 pixels and 500 kbits/s and an iPod-ready MP4 that has 640x480 resolution and a 1.3 mbits/s bit rate. Running times averaged about 15 to 20 minutes long for the movies currently online.

I moved into her picture galleries after the movies. There are more of these but not too many more than the movies. These are some really fantastic pictorials though. In all of them she is alone, posing in various settings--public bathrooms, bedrooms, studio white rooms, bedrooms etc. She shows off her pale, naked and tattooed body completely, allowing close ups of her tight shaved holes. Tattoos cover her down to her hips. She will pose in fishnets and stockings, in high heel shoes and in panties. She masturbates as well as inserts plugs and dildos up her ass.

The images are gorgeous, with great lighting and camera work. They are much more professional than her videos. However they display in a floating box in the browser, and depending on how big your browser window is how big the image will be. You can click a button to see it in its native resolution which is 1080x644, or a slight variation of that. You can right click and download individual pictures at this size. There were no zip files for downloading full galleries, though. Most sets contained around 75 pictures.

The content is good with a few issues, but part of what had me most excited on the tour was the interaction via webcams, blogs and forums with Misti Dawn. Unfortunately this didn't work out perfectly either.

She does some things well, though. Her blog is probably the best aspect of her interactivity. She updates all the time with long, detailed posts that you know only she could write. She uploads pictures from her cell phone here and basically spills the beans on what she's up to in life. Turns out she's a huge goth dance addict, and she goes out with her girlfriends regularly to party. She also talks about her strip club performances and appearances, which you can get a list of on the site as well.

The web cam promises fall short, though. There are three sections to the site: Chat, Cam and 24/7 cam. The last one doesn't work--an empty page loads. The Cam appears to work but there's no telling when she's on it, if ever. The chat page did work, but no no one was in there, and the window for the video feed was white. In short, none of the cams or chats were working for me and seemed to not be active.

It's not clear how often Misti is updating MeowMistiDawn.com.

Conclusion

Meow Misti Dawn is on the right track, but her site is still in need of some love and attention. Without much content and many of the most interesting features not working properly it comes up somewhat short of what it ought to be. I'm hoping this bombshell red head puts things together. She has lots of promise and is real close to having an amazing site for her fans.
